About the Author

Helen Scott Taylor's first novel, The Magic Knot, won the American Title contest in 2008, was a Golden Heart® finalist, and was chosen as one of Booklist's top ten romances of 2009. Since then, she has published other novels, novellas, and short stories in both the UK and USA. Her published works have been finalists in a number of contests including the Holt Medallion, the Lories, the Prism Contest, the Write Touch Award and the Maggies.

Helen lives in South West England near Plymouth in Devon between the windswept expanse of Dartmoor and the rocky Atlantic coast. As well as her wonderful long-suffering husband, she shares her home with a Westie and an aristocratic chocolate-shaded-silver-burmilla cat who rules the household with a velvet paw. She believes that deep within everyone there's a little magic. www.helenscotttaylor.com

Helen Taylor is a down to earth writer who hits the nail right on the head every time. He books are heart warming and informative and take to a place that makes you think "WHAT WOULD I DO-HOW WOULD I HANDLE IT. Fear not she has the answer and it is HEART WARMING ROMANCE TRUE TO LIFE. Pudgie

I thought this would be a nice, feel good series for the holiday season. Although the premise is lovely, the writing is dull and repetitive. I actually found myself becoming irritated with not only the author, but also the publisher! I was embarrassed this actually made it to print. Whilst I was not expecting a work of 'great' literature, I didn't feel this even made it to readable! I found myself thinking, 'you've already told us that. Yes, you just mentioned that. Okay, got it, you really don't need to reiterate that.' I realize this is pretty harsh and I'm sorry if I'm hurting the author's feelings. I actually stopped reading.

I really enjoyed these holiday stories. I think they are pretty well written and are fun....which is what they were meant to be. They are a continuation of the McKenzie brothers stories. Enjoy these with a warm cup of cocoa.
