Nothing will stop the Bratva mob boss from taking back what’s his, and once he has her, he’ll do anything to keep her...
Viviana “Vine” Carducci’s and Anton Avdonin’s marriage was decided more than two decades ago. The deal between leading mafia families has more on the line than anyone knew, even if the Bratva and Cosa Nostra shouldn’t mix. When Vine’s family is murdered and she’s left with nothing more than her grief to survive the mob world alone, she believes the arrangement won’t see the light of day.
Anton can’t allow the one woman he was supposed to love get away. At the possibility of her death, he steps in to save her with guns blazing, knowing exactly what it might cost him: everything. But it’s been nearly a decade since their last meeting, and he can’t help but wonder if the woman he took back is the same girl he fell for all those years before.
Protected and loved, Vine is unable to forget their shared moments a lifetime ago, or the future she knows they’re owed. When an old flame of Anton’s shows up to rip the veil off the carefully constructed secrets he’d been hiding, she learns that nothing about her life is as it seems. But, that’s nothing compared to the bomb about to blow. Can Vine see beyond the pain and blood to take what she always wanted? And just how far will the mob prince go to keep her safe?
In a world where violence, deceit, and greed reign, your life is not your own, and sometimes, love has to be arranged.

"The Arrangement (The Russian Guns #1)" by Bethany-Kris 5 out of 5 stars Take a journey into the life of a mafia princess and the man who has stolen her heart in this page-turner by Bethany-Kris. Whether it's your curiosity about the inner workings of the mafia elite or you're just looking for a passionate love story, you won't be disappointed with this one! When Viviana's father is killed she thought the arranged marriage for her died along with him. Unbeknownst to her, Anton (her arranged fiancé) has other ideas. He has watched his beloved Vine grow up from afar and has been bidding his time, waiting for the right moment to collect what is his. Confused and scared, Viviana quickly realizes that the passion they ignited as teenagers still burns bright. Will they be able to find happiness together or will threats outside of their control bring it all crashing to the ground? Viviana, or Vine to all who know her, has grown up in the mafia and is well versed in what is expected of her. She seems to take the lifestyle in stride and knows how to handle herself around all the made men. I love how regal she seems. Vine seems to command respect and carries herself with a quiet grace that endears her to everyone. I love that she's more than willing to go toe-to-toe with Anton and meets him head on with passion and fire. She's just an overall cool chick and I could really hang out with her. Anton is the best of every world. He's hard when it comes to business, soft when he looks at Vine, fair when it comes to his men, and passionate when it comes to the things he loves. I love how open he is with Viviana and willing to offer his heart fully to her. He's dominant in the bedroom and every move he makes stokes the fire that burns super hot between the two of them. They practically smolder off the page and their sparks are crazy good! Bethany-Kris has spent a lot of time with her characters. They are so well developed that you feel like you've known them forever. Every choice they make works for each of them and not once did I question anyone's actions. Each one of them brings a unique voice to the story and together they blend seamlessly. The story flows well and even though it is the first book in the series there is a solid ending with no cliffhangers. I would definitely recommend this one for sure! I'm looking forward to the next installment! *I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.* Shannon, My Secret Book Spot
