About the Author
Ralston Powell was born in Jamaica, W.I. and immigrated to Canada as a young man. He is a born-again Christian who is committed to his faith. Ralston became concerned about the rising incidence of heart disease and cancer - especially among young, healthy people - when a member of his church developed cancer of the blood. He saw others around him falling prey to disease, especially heart disease and was devastated when some of them died. Ralston is committed to helping people lower their risk of heart disease through lifestyle changes, not medication.
Ralston attended George Brown College and Jarvis Collegiate Institute focusing on English, Math, and Chemistry. He has also studied Real Estate at Seneca College. Ralston loves all sports and enjoys swimming, and playing soccer and cricket.
