Overview

"When upon the electus lay,
the crown, the amulet, the bracelets Fey,
light and dark will she command,
peace or destruction upon this land."

Sophia Bennett has spent the last seventeen years being perfectly ordinary.  Now that she's moving away and heading off to college, she hopes this will bring a little more excitement to her life.  Before she says goodbye to the end of summer, however, she plans to confess her feelings to her secret crush, Jake - her biggest fear.

At least, until terrifying creatures crash her birthday party and try to kill her.

Now, Sophia is thrust into the world of half-fairy, half-human beings called faeids, and her trio of rescuers turn out to have secrets of their own.  Pulled into the middle of an ancient struggle between good and evil, time is against her as she must help keep a powerful magic from falling into the wrong hands.

Can Sophia solve the mystery of the Lilith links in time to save her loved ones, or will the enemy triumph and destroy all that she holds dear?

About the Author

Jennifer Yen began her writing career in the fourth grade, when her teacher took the detective story she wrote for class and turned it into a small book to gift to her.  This simple act, along with her love for telling stories, kept her writing about the worlds that existed in her imagination.

She currently resides in Houston and stays busy during the day working to help better the lives of others through medicine.  In the evenings her storytelling alter ego writes furiously in the hopes of sharing the magic and joy of a great story with others.
