This was a very short book, gave just the basic info about ayurvedic eating to lose weight. I enjoyed reading it and learned quite a bit, but what I really wanted was some recipes or even better descriptions of the dishes he suggested a Kapha like myself eat. Instead he would say "corn salad with lime dressing", or "oriental dressing" and who in the heck knows what he means. Sometimes he would suggest eating things that a Kapha was not supposed to eat! So, somewhat confusing, to say the least. However, he did explain the basics of Ayurveda, so I would say buy this if you want just basic info about Ayurveda but go elsewhere for your recipes.
