A lovely romance novella, The Bad Boy Billionaire's Wicked Arrangement was a wonderful read. I really liked this romance and I love how it connects to the historical novels in the Bad Boys and Wallflowers series. Loved it! I really like how this series is formatted. With each historical novel in the series, there's a corresponding addition to the contemporary novella (this book). I love it. It's unique and makes the series even more fun. I can't wait to see more of it! Both Jane and Duke were lovely character. Jane was a quiet type, but don't mistake that for meek, because she had a backbone of steel. Not even a handsome billionaire could push her around. Duke was also great. A bit blind to what was in front of him, but, hopefully, that will be solved in later installments. But, for the most part, he was great. The romance was lovely. Since this novella is only the start to their story, we only get the beginning roots of their relationship, and I really liked how it was done. They were sweet together, despite how adamant they both were to deny their feelings. And the chemistry was super hot. Those sparks were flying from the moment they met. The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. As I said before, I really liked the parallel, especially because I loved The Wicked Wallflower. I really enjoyed the story and the ending has me itching for more. The Bad Boy Billionaire's Wicked Arrangement was a fantastic romance novella. I really loved it. Romance lovers, this novella (and the whole series in general) is a must read. *I received a free copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

I enjoyed this but there are 2 more books you have to buy to get the whole story. While normally I don't mind series, this was expensive at 8 dollars and less than 300 pages for all 3 books.

Clever romance in today's technology.

This was really good and a fast read. I liked how the author worked social media into the story line. We live in a world where things didn't happen unless someone posted about it that it was interesting to see how this was portrayed to the extreme, I hope, in text. The characters were well rounded and stayed true to their persona, but common does every "good-girl" wall-flower have to be a librarian. We all aren't like that... Anyway think I might look into picking up the next book in this series to find out what happens next. Usually don't feel that way about contemporary romances so something definitely resonated with me in this piece

Bad, bad writing

I really liked this modern and fun serial romance. I found the plot fun and interesting and I enjoyed the author's voice. The only thing that missed the mark was proofreading. HarperCollins should have caught the missing words and minor formatting issues found in all three parts of the serial. Still, I would recommend just for the Sex in the City vibe with a Regency twist.

This book is the first of so far three books total. It is one hell of a romance which you wil quickly get sucked into! The books are only $1 each, but the next doesnt come out until May, which is going to drive me crazy! Each book is only 75 pages each, so its not really a series, just a book that you have to buy in parts. Totally worth it though!

Before you start reading this book you should know that it is broken up into what I assume is three installments, maybe more? :-) Third comes out in May 2014. That being said this is a great book and you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, and the story will suck you in from the paragraph. Def recommend!

67 pages of story, which is not really novel length so I was disappointed in that. The other annoying thing is that it ends in the middle of the story with no ending or closure, so you have to buy the next book for the continued story. I don't know if this is something that is happening with ebooks now, because this isn't the first time I've seen this with an ebook, but I don't like it. It sort of feels like the author is selling a magazine novella with installments you have to pay for, and I personally feel that in the description of the story, they should tell you this upfront, or you feel like you've been conned. If none of this bothers you, though, it is well written and the plot pulls you right in. It is entertaining, but I'm not techno savvy, and I couldn't figure out who was supposed to be saying or thinking the cryptic words or phrase at the start of the chapters. Not that there were chapters- there weren't. The structure was unfamiliar and different than anything I've seen. Not hard to follow, though, except for the cryptic and sometimes nonsensical words at the start of sections of writing.

~Reviewed by SUZANNE & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog For Jane Sparks being kissed in the library, where she works, is the most exciting this to happen to her in a while. She never realised it would lead her on a completely mad bend in her life, but one kiss from a sexy stranger mixed with her best friend getting on to her Facebook page apparently created a fake engagement. One that her sexy stranger, who turns out to be bad boy billionaire Duke Austen, seems happy to go along with. He needs someone to help clean up his bad boy image and Jane “Sweater Set” Sparks seems like just the girl to do the job. I am beginning to really detest serials, they just leave you smack bang in the middle of the action and you have to wait what seems like an age to see what happens next. I swear it is a modern type of torture and should be stopped at all costs. I really enjoyed this story, it was funny and a little bit sexy, with a great heroine and a hero just bad enough to swoon over, but not bad enough to question the heroine’s intelligence. As well as enjoying the story itself, I loved Maya Rodale’s idea of creating a contemporary story to match her historical one. This is book #1.5 in her Bad Boys & Wallflowers series, and if you have read the first book in that series, The Wicked Wallflower, you will not only recognise the familiar story line, but also the book that Jane Sparks is writing. I really enjoyed this serial and can’t wait till the next part is out. In fact I liked this more than The Wicked Wallflower the first book in the series, so even if you haven’t read that it is worth giving The Bad Boy Billionaire’s Wicked Arrangement a try, it is guaranteed to leave you smiling and frowning (damn you serials!!) all at once. * eARC provided by Edelweiss

The premise behind Maya Rodale’s, The Bad Boy Billionaire’s Wicked Arrangement is a clever one as there's a blending of the historical and contemporary between her Bad Boys & Wallflowers series. For each historical version of a story there's a corresponding contemporary version that sees characters in a whole different light. Not having read any of Ms. Rodale's works before I didn't know what to expect with this and was left pleasantly surprised. Though bits of it are cliched it's witty and fast-paced. Some may be disappointed by the abrupt cliffhanger ending but I prefer to see it as a tantalizing beginning. The beginning of Jane and Duke's relationship seen here is like an appetizer that draws readers in and leaves them coming back for we'll see in the next installment. Jane is a quiet and straight-laced librarian who doesn't like to take risks and it's cost her one boyfriend already. With the encouragement and machinations of her roommate she ends up taking a walk on the wild side when a clandestine kiss at a party leaves her with a secret fiancée. Her staid life instantly becomes chaotic as the sexual tension ramps up and leads to a steamy weekend of fun that might or might not lead to more. Duke is known for being a playboy as well as a fun-loving failure. With his third attempt at creating a business he'll need every advantage he can get. The advantage he finds is the smart and classy Jane who he ends up engaged to in a plan to make him respectable. What starts out as an act slowly becomes more for this mis-matched couple that seems oh so right together. These characters are fun and their interactions delightful with witty banter. Jane is easy to relate to and Duke is just bad enough to be every good girl's dream. They're attracted to each other from the moment they meet and the sexual tension gets stronger every moment they're together. This novella was a delectable start and I look forward to where Jane and Duke's relationship goes from here.

I enjoyed the Wicked Wallflower and i was looking forward to this book. The characters were hard to get to know in such a short story, particularly Duke. The storyline wa quite clever and i liked how they tied it to the earlier book. I didnt realize it was going to be an installment book so i was disappointed in the ending.

This novella strikes the perfect balance between the social shenanigans of a Regency historical romance and the hot, modern flavor of a contemporary romance. The heroine, Jane, a would-be novelist of historical romance, is a small town girl thrown into the Big City after a hard breakup, and not quite sure what she wants in life. Along comes Duke Austen, sexy playboy tech entrepreneur, and Jane tumbles into a fake romance that turns deliciously real. The sex is smoking, the story is perfectly paced, and the love develops believably in this modern urban setting, complete with a few precious breath-catching moments that make a romance perfect.  This is the first of a trio of novellas that together are one couples' romance. This installment is so satisfying, though, that it works on its own.  Please note: I only review books that I can rate at 5 stars. In a romance I enjoy a likable heroine, a delicious hero, a fun story, terrific writing, and breath-catching moments along the way to love.
