Facing inescapable financial collapse that would soon plummet their nation into third world status, the Mexican government resolves to sell a portion of the Baja Peninsula with expectations of preventing such a devastating future.

As a few overseas governments express interest in the purchase, United States Ambassador Owen Crawford and his superiors must act quickly in their attempt to obtain the land so that a potentially hostile foreign power does not establish annexed territory in the region.

In rationalizing that the development can have only one eventual outcome, Min Raymond and her cell of operatives attempt to benefit North Korea by orchestrating a series of sabotage missions on the peninsula in the hope of misleading two global superpowers into a state of war.

About the Author

Within the course of his high school years, Kurt wrote articles for the school newspaper before embarking on his university experience where he majored in journalism. After 18 months along that path, Kurt spent a semester backpacking through Europe on a few dollars a day just as many in his age group had done. The multiple cultures, history, art, and languages throughout the continent made a lasting impression on him, which fueled his desire to explore even more of what was out there. Kurt subsequently left university life behind him and began a few different careers that enabled him to live in and discover what various regions of the United States had to offer. Unable to escape the allure of his writing or storytelling, Kurt quickly began to develop journals of his adventures. Those early scribblings provided him with an excellent foundation for future reference, and once he began writing them, he never stopped.
