The Baxters - She Found Us by L. Ann Marie

Hiding from her psychotic ex takes Mitch to the best thing that's ever happened in her sorry life. The Greek God of a savior has got to be too good to be true. Jamie quickly decides that Mitch is the partner him and his cousin, Kevin, have been searching for. Mitch has never had a good relationship with a man, never mind two at once. Her over achieving brain has the two ex-SEALs heads spinning.
Security, one of their many businesses, was easy until now. While the men struggle to keep Mitch and her daughter Jess in their lives, her ex has other plans.
When hidden doubts threaten to tear them apart, our resident genius thinks she has a way to ease those doubts and become the family she's always longed for. There is very little Mitch can't do, but can she survive what her ex has planned for her?

About the Author

L. Ann started with the Baxters and is working on her fifth series, The Providence Series. While her books feature ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world’s wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.
The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, they throw tampons at each other regularly.
That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.
L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the freaky kids, military turned FBI and Bikers.
With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud.
Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet.

Mitch has had a really hard life. Abuse from her family and boyfriends have not made her bitter, but stronger. She has a young daughter , Jess who is her life and a psychotic ex, Jeff who is willing to kill her if he can't have her. He is stalking her everywhere she goes and trying to get away is almost impossible. She meets Jamie ,a blonde Adonis who runs interference for her to get away. Since she needs help, Jamie is willing to hide and protect her. As the attraction between them grows, Jamie explains that he and his cousin, Kevin are looking for a wife to share. She is also told that the two guys are Dominates. BDSM is part of their life. Mitch is agreeable to all of this if she and Kevin like each other. All three enter into a relationship as a family with Jess as their child to love. Jeff is still a threat, looking for her. Can Jamie and Kevin keep Mitch and Jess safe? Will they have their HEA? Graphic language. Lots of sex with two hot men. Great storyline. Abuse and rape are talked about and may disturb some. The cousins do not have a relationship, no touching each other. I received this book from Net Galley. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy . All thoughts and opinions are my own.
