You are invited to a wedding...

• where a mysterious lover fulfills a secret fantasy - and finds his own dream come true.
• where a disappointed woman finds true love - in the most unlikely of places.
• where the bride and groom have second thoughts - but discover a happy-ever-after beyond their wildest dreams.

Christine has always been in love with her best friend’s older brother, Jake. The fact that she’s maid of honor and he’s best man at Jess’s Caribbean wedding means that they’ll be thrown together repeatedly for the week of the festivities. Christine decides to make it count and tells Jake about her secret desire, hoping he’ll realize that he’s the fantasy lover she really wants.

Jake has always wanted Christine to be more than his ‘other baby sister’ but doesn’t want to lose her friendship. When Christine confesses her secret desire, he appoints himself to make her fantasy come true. His only concern is the bet made at the stag, that whichever of the guys gets lucky first wins the money. Jake knows that winning the bet could mean losing Christine—fortunately, he’s a man willing to be creative in pursuit of the best prize of all.

I enjoyed this steamy, well-written book. Christine is in love with best best friend Jess's brother, Jake, but hasn't told him. He also wants Christine to be more than his "other baby sister," but hasn't told her. When they fly to the Caribbean for Jess's wedding, Christine takes a chance and tells Jake about her secret, naughty fantasy. This is his chance, and nothing will stop him from fulfilling her dream. This fun, sexy story can be read as a standalone book, though is the first in a series with related characters. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series! A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion.

The Best Man is book one in the Wedding Trilogy. In the Best Man we meet Christine, who is to be maid of honor for her best friend in a lavish Caribbean wedding and who has the hots for her best friends older brother. Turns out Jake, the older brother, has lusted after Christine for years. Opportunity, a beautiful setting and some secret naughty fantasies bring the two together while everything is falling apart around them. The bride is miserable and unhappy and doing her best to make every one involved miserable also. Jake and Christine barely notice. Looking forward to the next installment for answers to the questions this short read raised and to find out what happens next. This is a quick fun read. Great beach book. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion.

3.5 Stars Christine has been in love with her best friends older brother Jack for most of her life. Knowing that he only sees her as a little sister is a hard pill to swallow but one that she has come to accept over the years. While getting ready to depart for a caribbean wedding in which Christine and Jack are the maid of honor and best man they come up with a plan to keep all the other single members of the wedding party away from them. Pretend that there together. Only Jack doesn't plan on pretending. He has waited a long time to get his hands on Christine and he wasn't wasting this opportunity. After Christine confesses her sevret desire to Jack about a mystery lover he begins to make plans to give her everything she has ever wanted and then some. While I did enjoy reading this I couldn't help but see similarities to books I have read in the past (thus my 3.5 * rating). The mysterious fantasy lover added a little something to it along the way but I found myself wanting more
