Thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this book. Stella's interaction with the court system, broadcast news, friendships, and relationship with Lucky were all relatable. I want another book and I want more interaction with Lucky. She should be able to have her career and the man as well. Crime reporter slash slueth.

While she is learning the ropes of news networking for NBC on the fly, Stella inadvertently discovers that the man being tried for murder may be innocent. With a competing journalist, a judge who may be biased, and a police detective with questionable motives muddying the waters, Stella struggles to make headway in her investigation for the truth. As the trial comes to a close, another man is murdered, and Stella believes his death is related to the case.
