Manwhore. That's what the board of directors—and the tabloids—thinks of billionaire bachelor Reese Crane. Ordinarily he couldn't care less, but his playboy past is preventing the board from naming him CEO of Crane Hotels. Nothing—and no one—will keep him from his life's legacy. They want a settled man to lead the company? Then that's exactly what he'll give them.

Merina Van Heusen will do anything to get her parents' funky boutique hotel back—even marry cold-as-ice-but-sexy-as-hell Reese Crane. It's a simple business contract—six months of marriage, absolute secrecy, and the Van Heusen is all hers again. But when sparks fly between them, their passion quickly moves from the boardroom to the bedroom. And soon Merina is living her worst nightmare: falling in love with her husband.

Favorite Quotes: He smiled, then said two words that made her go temporarily blind in one eye. 'Marry me.' Tell me why you're allergic to seeing a woman more than once... You weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth, Crane... You were born with an entire cutlery drawer in there. I was lucky... I wasn't this man before I knew her. My Review: A sham marriage to a handsome billionaire, making public appearances together with lots of PDA; living in a mansion with drivers, cooks, maids, and a guaranteed big payoff after six months or less. Tough life. I'd like to give that a try. Written in my favorite dual POV it was an entertaining and engaging story with stubborn yet endearing broken and cautious characters, humor, steam, and heart squeezes.

I don't remember too much about this one as it was a pretty generic adult contemporary romance novel, but it was such an adorable read, and exactly what I was looking for at the time. Though the "marriage of convenience" synopsis makes it sound like a Harlequin Romance novel, it has more of a rom-com feel to it than anything - a great choice if you're in the mood for a lighter read.

This was an intriguing hard to put down read --- just a delightful story, with lots of fun and excitement. Even though this is a complete stand-alone novel, the next one has more about the Crane family in it and I look forward to reading it!

This is the third book of Jessica's that I have read and the first book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series. Jessica does a great job of presenting her readers with well developed and thought out characters. She gives you enough back story on them in the beginning of the book and through out the story so that you can understand why the characters act the way that they do. In addition to having well developed characters, Jessica also sets the scene well to match the story that she is writing for instance, she does a good job of describing the differences between Reese's, Crane Hotel and Merina's Van Heusen hotel. As a reader you really feel like you are experiencing this hotel as the characters are. In addition to well developed characters and setting a great scene, Jessica also throws in a bit of humor and heartbreak at the right places in the book.l I think having both of those items made this book more than just a romance book. It was a book full of drama, romance and comedy all intertwined into one. I can't wait to read the next story in this series.

The fake marriage-turned-real story-line is one I enjoy a lot and THE BILLIONAIRE BACHELOR checks all the right boxes for me: sweet, sexy, fun and emotional, quite unlike any billionaire romance I've read. What sets it apart for me is the depth of emotions the characters experience as they deal with the unexpected feelings that flare between them. Reese Crane works as hard as he plays and enjoys the billionaire bachelor lifestyle, with the perk of having a new woman on his arm every day. While his life is tabloid fodder, with his own Twitter hashtag, the board of directors don't think that he is a fitting successor to his father as CEO of Crane Hotels, due to his lifestyle and if Reese doesn't get ahead of this issue, he will lose the position he has worked all his life for. The perfect solution: a temporary marriage, and who better to play the role of his bride than a woman with the right background and everything to lose. Merina Van Heusen grew up in her family's boutique hotel and expects to take over running it when her parents retire, but much to her shock the financial burden on her parents means the hotel has become a part of the Crane Hotel chain and the only way she can get it back is to give six months of her life to Reese Crane. A price well worth it, in her opinion. What both Reese and Merina do not expect is the attraction between them and while their marriage is fake, the chemistry between them is anything but and as you can expect, resistance is futile. I really enjoyed this story and think it's a great start to the series. I love Merina's strength and passion, how fearless she was putting herself out there with Reese, courting heartbreak by being honest about her feelings for him even knowing that he was closed off to love. Reese is the complete package: attractive and wealthy, but broken and Merina was perfect for him because she broke through all the barriers he had up and got to the man inside. One of my favorite things about this story is the behind-the-scenes look at the Crane family and their close relationships, their losses and how they brought them even closer and I loved Reese's relationships with his father and brother. Your summer reading list just got longer because there is no way this book shouldn't be on it and I can't wait for the rest of the series. Merina is determined to keep her family’s legacy, just as Reese is determined to have his. She wants her family’s hotel back; he wants to be CEO of his family’s hotel empire. Neither is refusing to easily give up the other; so when Reese asks Merina to marry him which would result in them both getting what they want, she reluctantly agrees. She not only sees it as a way to keep her family’s business, but she also wants to secure the long-faithful staff members’ jobs. They have to put on a show for the Board of Directors, and the public. Reporters are everywhere, which doesn’t do much to reign in the sexual tension that’s threatening to choke them both. They have to force themselves to remember this is just an act. Reese is more than willing to add sex to the contract, as long as hearts are not included. Easier said than done. Reese and Merina both are headstrong and smart. They are also sweet and loyal. Reese has had his heartbroken before, but the humiliation that came along with it was much worse. Merina’s been used, and she has no intent of letting that happen again. She can’t fix anyone, no matter how broken they are. It’s too easy for her to forget that when dealing with Reese. The witty banter is beyond entertaining, and I must say, the secondary characters -Tag and Lorelei, in particular, deserve as much attention as the H/H. The characters are charming and the relationships are natural. Merina’s parent’s reaction to the sudden engagement was a little more docile than I expected; but at the same time, although not specifically stated, I felt as if they knew something was up, but just didn’t quite know what. Reese had a way of being tough and soft at the same time, and that ability just makes him that much more lovable. I admired Merina for her strength, but she also had a soft, feminine side. I enjoyed their interactions, and I rooted for the union. At one point, I wished she’d just let go a bit to give him a chance to realize things on his own. Her pushiness bothered me for a couple of pages because I felt she needed to make him chase her since he was the one behaving badly. But it eventually worked out, and I was more than satisfied at the turn-of-events. There’s a lot of chemistry between the couple, and the characters are well-developed, just like their relationship. I’m very excited about seeing what’s next for Reese’s brother Tag.

What could possibly go wrong. These two are like oil and water on the surface but the more time they spend with each the more they find they have in common. Both have been seriously hurt and betrayed in the past which has molded them into the untrusting individuals they are. This book is full of witty banter and hot romance lover's of Jessick Lemons books are accustomed too. I can't wait for the next stories about Reese's brothers! I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

Reese is vying for the coveted title of CEO of the fabulous hotel company when his father retires. His playboy image is not ideal and he needs to change that to be considered a good candidate, so he offers a marriage of convenience to Marina. It starts out as a blackmail as Reese's family had purchased Marina's classy hotel, he blackmails her by offering her the hotel back if she will marry him for 6 months or he threatens to gut it and make it into a cookie cutter hotel. They have a tough beginning, but things settle down but there are still some dark days ahead. A great story, I loved it!

Reese Crane never goes out with the same woman twice, now the board of his family's hotel chain is using that as an excuse to not want him as CEO. Merina Van Heusen is desperate to save her family's hotel from being remodeled by the new owner, who just happens to be Reese. The solution seems easy enough to Reese, get Merina to agree to a marriage of convenience for six months to clean up his image in time for the board vote and he'll sign over the Van Heusen. Neither of them counted on the chemistry between them to be an issue until they are living in the same house and sharing a bedroom. What starts out as a business turns into a real relationship before either of them fully realizes it. I found Reese and Merina to be the perfect fit. She brought out the best of him and let us see a side of him that very few people get to see. Even though the story was a bit predictable, I still really enjoyed it. It was a fun, sexy read and I can't wait for the rest of the Crane brothers! 4.5 stars I received an ARC via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

Amount of sex - 3.5 / 5 How explicit - 3.5 / 5 Romance - 4 / 5 Overall: 4 / 5 Billionaire Bachelor is a sexy, hot, story about Reese Crane and Merina Van Huesen. Reese Crane and his family own Crane Hotels. His father just retired and Reese is the next in line to be the CEO. The only problem is the board of directors believe Reese is just a playboy… not an ideal candidate for CEO. Merina and her family own The Van Huesen, competitors of Crane Hotels. Merina’s parents have been losing money for a long time and decide to sell the hotel, without Merina’s knowledge, to Reese Crane. Merina is livid when she finds out and marches over in the pouring rain to tell Reese off. Reese has no time to deal with Merina, but decides that he can use her to his advantage. Reese makes a deal with Merina to help him look better in the boards eye; a deal he knows she can’t refuse. In the beginning, Reese is portrayed as the spoiled rich womanizer and Merina as the spirited workaholic perfectionist. I really loved how the characters interacted with each other, they possessed so much sexual tension. The story line was very captivating which made the sex scenes even hotter. I was so captivated with this book and can’t wait for the second book in the series! **ARC is given in exchange for an honest review**

3.5 stars The Billionaire Bachelor was a good read. Jessica Lemmon has done a great job bringing freshness to a storyline that's been told before with great writing, characters that you want to love one min and slap the next. My attention was drawn in from the first chapter and even though Reese frustrated me at times I couldn't put it down. Watching Reese and Merina together was very entertaining. Here was this workaholic, emotionally closed off man enjoying the time he spent with this smart, savvy, beautiful woman who didn't take any of his crap. She was not shy to put Reese in his place and to tell it as it is. This man had met his match and wasn't that a turnon? lol Merina's honesty, openness and heart made Reese feel things he had shut out from past hurts. They had a strong connection/attraction from the start and the chemistry between them was HOT! Overall The Billionaire Bachelor is a great start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to Tag's book next in The Billionaire Next Door.

So we all pretty much know where this one is going – a marriage of convenience that ends up being not so convenient after all. Doesn’t mean that it has to be blah :) Reese is your typical modern rake. He had some things happen that has him deciding that commitment and relationships aren’t for him. But there is something he wants and marriage to Merina is the only way that he can think to get it. Blackmail, power struggle, blah blah blah, together for show only. But he’s no match for her vibrancy. I enjoyed watching him slowly fall under her spell and show himself to not be as cold as he comes across. While we know that he’s going to screw it all up out of fear, he definitely knows how to give a woman his heart once he’s ready. Merina has a lot of spunk and she’s not willing to let Reese get away with too much. She’s sweet and caring and fun and mouthy and the perfect person to have Reese letting down his walls just a little. Unfortunately it isn’t enough and I have to give her credit for pushing for more. She’s strong and not willing to settle for second best. Lemmon takes a pretty well established trope and with skill & flair makes it enticing. While we’ve seen heroes like Reese many times he’s got just that little extra oomph to him to make him not feel recycled. And Merina’s spunkiness has me pulling for her every step of the way. I’ve loved Lemmon’s Bad Boys before and I’m starting to think her Billionaires will give them a run for their money. (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

Reese Crane is a well known playboy, who never double dips in the dating pool, he doesn't do feelings or relationships and isn't shy about making that fact known to the women he chooses to date. He tried all in love once, and wound up getting burnt, so from that point on it became strictly one night stands for him. But his no strings attached lifestyle is starting to rub his co-workers the wrong way, his father is set to retire soon, and the spot he has been groomed for and worked hard for will soon be available, but the board has their reservations about him taking the spot. They think his wild ways would reflect poorly on the company, and so he decides to turn over a new leaf... one that has him settling down, and walking down the aisle... now he just needs to find the perfect woman to play the part of his new wife! The minute that Merina Van Heusen learns her parents have sold their beloved hotel without her knowledge she is hurt beyond belief and completely devastated, she always thought they would pass it on to her when they were ready to retire... but unforeseen money troubles have lead them to sell. When Merina discovers that the new owner seems to think their quirky hotel needs some major updating she decides to hunt him down and have a word with him. When she storms into his office to make her demands, he has a proposition for her... one that would change the course of her life and also give her everything she's ever wanted... but it would require a trip down the aisle with the enemy!! I have been looking forward to reading this book for some time now, and have been anxiously awaiting for the opportunity to get up close and personal with Mr. Crane and I have to say he was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! Barely a chapter into the story and I felt myself being completely drawn into his world and captivated by his alluring playboy charm, seductive one liners, and domineering personality. Ms. Lemmon completely outdid herself with character development with this one, Reece & Merina were truly a match made in literary heaven, their chemistry burned brightly from start to finish, and their playful and VERY heated banter kept things HOT! HOT! HOT!! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent reading this scorching and very satisfying read, and I look forward to future visits to the Billionaire Bad Boys series!! Definitely one of my favorites from Ms. Lemmon to date!! ARC requested through NetGalley and kindly provided by Forever Publishing in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

Merina & Reese meet when she storms his castle, so to speak. Behind the anger and the insults, there is real and genuine sparks between them. Merina is so hurt that everyone around her has lied. Reese has a plan that should help both of them get what they want. If they want to play in between, well he leaves that up to her. Can they ignore the heat that feels like it is about to ignite? This book fascinated me! I think this is the author's BEST BOOK YET! I loved the characters, the heat, the banter - all of it. I was supremely pleased with the ending that just brought me to tears and laughter at the same time. ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher in exchange for an honest review only.

A relationship built on deception and favors soon takes on a new meaning as the players in Jessica Lemmon's The Billionaire Bachelor engage in more than just a business affair. The first book in this author's Billionaire Bad Boys series reaches high and delivers a great story. The heat and sexual tension between the opposing hero and heroine sizzled throughout this well devised plot and carried through to the end. With nicely drawn portrayals this writer showcased the inner workings of their insecurities and yet maintained the appeal of the characters. Jessica Lemmon's new series will take you on a romance that will leave you wanting more from this gifted author. *I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

I loved it – more please! The Billionaire Bachelor is a standalone book, the first in a new series called Billionaire Bad Boys. It’s exactly the kind of story that made me fall in love with Jessica Lemmon’s writing over two years ago. I wasn’t real crazy about all of her Lost Boys stories but this one has me completely back on board. The story has a wonderful, strong heroine in Merina Van Heusen and Reese Crane is just enough of a jerk-bad boy that you can hate him a little until you really get to know more about him (he’s been betrayed by a lover) as the story develops. Merina loves the Van Heusen boutique hotel that has been her family’s legacy. Unbeknownst to her it was sold and now she’s furious – at her parents for not telling her about their financial problems and at Crane Hotels for buying it and wanting to turn it into another non-descript, modern looking hotel. Reese Crane needs to change his image if he’s to obtain his life’s goal of becoming CEO of Crane Hotels when his father retires. He comes up with the perfect plan – marry Merina. If she’ll stay married to him for 6 months he will sign the Van Heusen over to her free and clear. This is an updated marriage of convenience type of story and I loved it! The first time Merina and Reese meet she’s soaking wet and demanding that he stop the updates he’s ordered for the Van Heusen. He’s intrigued by her and admires her feistiness (as well as how she looks in a wet, see-through blouse). Jessica Lemmon’s writing couldn’t be better. I laughed and I cried and I wanted to beat Reese over the head more than once. Oh, did I mention how hot and steamy it gets between Marina and Reese – even after they both said there wouldn’t be any sex during their marriage? Wow, made my ereader nearly burn my fingers! Reese has two brothers that I’m sure will get their own books and I can’t wait to read them. ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my review. Review will be posted to Xtreme-Delusions dot com on or after release date.

***ARC Provided by the Publisher and NetGalley*** http://www.imasweetandsassybookwhore.... I did not want this one to end. Jessica Lemmon wrote a story that was a pleasure to read from page one. It was immediately engaging, well written, and plotted in a way that kept your interest as the story progressed. The characters and the dialog were authentic and they didn’t fell like “characters” but rather actual people. They stayed consistent, there were no moments where I felt that one of them acted in a way that was out of who they had been portrayed to be, and their decisions made sense. Finishing a book that you love as much as I did this one is always bittersweet. On the one hand, you are glad to have enjoyed it as much as you did, thrilled that the characters you have come to love got their HEA, and glad, especially in this case, that the characters are in a better place than they were in the beginning. But I am sad it is over, sad that I don’t have any more new words to read about Reese and Merina. Reese Crane has an image problem, complete with a flattering/not-flattering hashtag. His board of directors is holding this image issue over his head and refusing to appoint him to the Crane Hotels CEO position being vacated when Alex Crane retires. This is Reese’s dream position, one he has literally spent years working to attain, and refuses to let it be taken from him for a reason that he feels has no bearing on his ability to do the job. Reese also has an issue that he doesn’t want to admit to himself. He has convinced himself he is hard, cold, uncaring, and incapable of commitment. Hence the string of single-night affairs that allow him to protect himself emotionally, but which may also cost him the CEO position as the board of directors is less than enthused by his reputation. This could be off-putting in a romantic hero, but it isn’t, as the reader quickly understands, it is not really what Reese wants, he is just afraid to open himself up to more. He hasn’t quite yet figured out that he is capable of being as passionate about another person as he is about the hotel chain. Merina has a problem with doorknobs, her family’s hotel, and the new owner of that hotel. Of course, as we find out very quickly, this new owner is Crane Hotels. She is loyal, and while she does not see it at first, the commitment she and Reese share to being willing to do what it takes for things they care about is a tie that draws them together. She also wants to help the people around her, to care for them, to let them into her heart when they are hurting and to help them heal, so she is drawn to the part of Reese that he feels is broken, she wants him to see that he is capable of love and commitment. Reese is convinced if he and Merina get married, the important problems, the problems he is willing to acknowledge, will be solved. So, Reese propositions Merina, thinking that this will solve his image problem and that as the marriage will be fake from the beginning, he will be able to stay closed off and guarded. He offers Merina the Van Heusen hotel as her divorce settlement and proposes a 6-month marriage of convenience that is in name only, except while in public, solving her issue with having someone else own her hotel. You connect with both characters, and even though Reese is seen in a less than flattering light by Merina at the beginning, she quickly sees that his cold exterior is to hide a man who is not incapable of feeling, but rather scared to

Wonderful new series from Jessica Lemmon!!! Reese Crane has been working on showing the board that he is the best to take over when his father retires. The only problem is that they see him as a manwhore. Merina Van Heusen has been working to keep her family hotel in the black. She finds out that her parents have sold it to the Crane corporation. Merina might just be the answer to Reese's problem. What a great concept and to see two people fall in love as they live together and figure out how to show the world that this marriage is real. Can't wait to see Tag's story!

Without you, I have nothing. Without you, I am nothing.” “Come back.” “Come back and I swear I’ll spend the rest of my life making this up to you.” When I first read the synopsis of this book, I gotta tell you, I could not wait to dive in. And let me tell you, The Billionaire Bachelor does not disappoint. Told from dual points of view, The Billionaire Bachelor follows the story of Merina and Reese. From the moment you dive into their story, you are sucked in. Merian is fierce and loyal to her family and it’s business. So, when she hears that her family’s hotel has been sold, she is not only devastated, but pissed off. When she goes to confront Reese, she hopes to make him see where she’s coming from. But, instead, she only intrigues him. It’s his intrigue that makes him come up with this crazy plan. Marry him for six months, help him improve his image and when he gets the CEO position he’s dreamed of, he’ll give Merina back her family’s business and they’ll go their separate ways. Sounds easy enough, right? I have to tell you, I am a sucker for these types of romances. I love the enemies to lovers/fake relationship type story lines. And like I said this one does not disappoint. The chemistry between Merina and Reese is scorching. Yes, they fight and get frustrated with one another, the sexual tension between the two of them is so palpable, it can’t help but come to surface. The Billionaire Bachelor was a quick and easy read for me. I found this story to be very refreshing and I loved this authors take on the billionaire ceo. I thought the characters were entertaining and held a lot of intrigue. I loved getting to know them all and I especially loved getting to watch Reese and Merina fall. I thought this story was paced well and it held my interest the entire time. I think it had just the right amount of angst, drama, romance and frustration. The Billionaire Bachelor is the first book in the new Bachelor Bad Boys series by Jessica Lemmon. I think this series is off to a terrific start and I can’t wait to see which character will fall next!
