Saxon, Ming and Heba, glamorous girlfriends of three ruthless power brokers in the international oil industry, become instant friends over a broken zipper in the ladies' room of a five-star Paris hotel during an OPEC conference. About the Author

Maggie Abbott's first novel The Acid King is a fictional story about a real life underground trickster who had an influence on her life during London's swinging sixties and around the punk club scene in eighties Los Angeles. Both fascinating times that reflect her love of music and eccentric characters.
In The Bimbo Syndicate Maggie has created a fictional story on another favorite subject. International politics and its power brokers as cynical but comical entertainment, featuring an obsessive greed for oil and risky tug of war to control it.
Born in London but always on the move, living in the world's most exciting cities, Maggie has worked in advertising, music, theater and movies – as a talent agent, studio executive and producer. She enjoyed the best years of Hollywood action before she decided the fun was missing and took to an independent life in the California desert, writing novels.
She is currently editing her third, a twisted romance set in a near future for chaos survivors.
