I fell in love with this author from the first page of the first book. With each subsequent book I’ve fallen in love with each and every one of them. I adore the characters but Maisie I loved just a bit more. We met her in book one and she and Gigi were kidnapped and attacked so you understand just how strong a character she really is. Her son Coby is adorable and full of life. We get to see him grow up with each subsequent book too. Hunter arrives in her life when she’s nearly ready so it takes some work but not too much. He wins her over but misunderstandings and lack of communication prevents them from moving forward as quickly as a hunter would have liked. Add in some drama and intrigue and you have a book I couldn’t put down at all. The twist in the book took me by surprise but kept me hooked as well. The epilogue was bittersweet to read as I’ve fallen in love with all these amazing characters . I can’t recommend this book and series highly enough.

Uggh! This felt like a conclusion to the series? I'm not ready to say goodbye. Maybe there are still more characters with stories to tell or she will write a Jameson County second generation? Definitely recommend Bitterroot Inn and the rest of this series as well - Love them all!

READ THIS BOOK! If you haven’t read any of the books in this series, you are in for such an amazing treat with The Bitterroot Inn! Author Devney Perry did it again! What a perfect, solid finish to the five-book Jamison Valley series! This series was my favorite reads in 2017! I loved Maisey and Hunter’s story. I do not want to summarize this book. Just do yourself a favor and read it! This book is much more than a romance story! This author delivered such rich, engaging, well developed characters, a desirable location and believable heartwarming relationships in all five books! I literally could not put any of the books down as I began to read each one! I truly cannot wait to see what Devney Perry creates for us in 2018!

I absolutely loved Maisy, Coby, and Hunter!!! Maisy is a single Mom, who has sworn off doctors, for good reason. She runs the Bitterroot Inn to support her son, Coby. Hunter enters the picture renting a room. It was love at first knee. Read to get the humor to that statement. Hunter has something to hide though and Maisy has something to lose--her heart. This is a must read to start your new year off with a bang! This series is one of the best out there. The book can be read as a stand alone, but really all five books are five star reads! Thanks for the beautiful ending to this series, Devney! I cannot wait to read what you write next!

Bitterroot Inn is the end of a series or just as god as a standalone. What an awesome story about Maisy and Hunter. I am so glad that they overcame their past and have a happy forever after. Devney has you reading non stop you can't put this book down. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

I was unsure about reading this book because, I did not care for her character in the other stories. I felt she was rude to some of the other women and I just did not have any desire to read her story. I am glad that I read this story Hunter and Maisy ended up being my favorite story out of the bunch!

What a great ending to one of my favorite series! Devney Perry has become one of my top favorite authors. All of her books have been 5-Stars and on my favorites list. This one was just the perfect exclamation mark on her first series. It was just heartwarmingly sweet. Hunter was the perfect hero. I can’t wait for what she has for us next.

Another awesome offering from Denver Perry, I have loved the whole Jamison Valley Series, and this is no exception. Maisy is recovering from a few rough years, can she let her heart go. Hunter has a secret, a secret that could tear his and Maisy's new relationship apart.

I am absolutely in love with this series!!! When I started reading I was unable to put down until I completed the book. I am so sad this is the end of the series but I can not wait for what else might be in store for us, hopefully a spin off series I have loved Maisy from the start and I was so happy that she finally got her happily ever after. Hunter is perfect fit for her and fell in love with his character as well.

The Bitterroot Inn is the final installment in the Jamison Valley Series. The series is a set of stand-alone books. Each book in this set is extraordinary and this book wraps up the series in a beautiful bow! These books are everything a great read should be! The are just smile ear to ear goodness! This book is a perfect blend of a strong heroine, swoony alpha and small town goodness. The writing is stellar and the author is one of my top favorites. She has crafted literary perfection since her first book! I was sad to have the series end, but it was beautifully executed and heartwarming, from first book to final epilogue! 10 small town romance stars ✨!

I absolutely loved this book. Maisy and Hunter were a perfect match for each other. And I couldn't get enough of sweet Coby. As much as I wanted to read it slow and savor it, knowing it was the last book in the series, I couldn't stop. I had to know who was who, what they were doing there and what was going to happen. With this being the finale, Devney went out in style. I didn't see the twists and turns coming. This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat! Although the series is over, and i'll miss my friends from Jamison Valley, i'll never forget them.

What an amazing way to finish this series. I’m so sad right now, I knew when I started reading this book that this was it for this series. I was not ready for it to end and I want more. Maisy is awesome! She went through a very rough time a few years ago, but she survived! She became stronger, brave, and independent. Maisy has tried her hardest to make a good life for her and her son Coby (which by the way has to be the cutest kid ever!) She ran her Inn and worked hard to be a great single parent to Coby. She was envious of her friends and family, she wanted what they all have....someone her and Coby could spend the rest of their lives with. After a run of awful set-ups by her friends she was starting to lose hope. Then walks in.....Hunter Faraday!! He’s somewhat mysterious and secretive and that threw up a red flag for her. He tries hard to work his way into her and her sons life. They both have secrets, and once they are all out, will he be able to keep her or will he lose her for good? You will have to read this book to find out. As I said before I’m sorry to see this series end, but I am looking forward to meeting new characters from Devney.

Every time I read a novel from Devney Perry, I am transported to my favorite little town of Prescott in Jamison Valley. I love reading about all the gossip that goes on, who is marrying who- having babies, and all around good news. But there’s always that bit of drama/angst that happens too. And I knew with Maisy’s past history, from The Coppersmith Farmhouse on through, hers was going to be a fantastic story- and I was not disappointed. Maisy loves the life she has been given, and is grateful every day for what she has. Even if it seems like she has too much on her plate- she always gets it taken care of. She has a wonderful son, and awesome family- and kick butt friends. But now that almost all of her friends have coupled off, she is feeling a little bit lonesome. She can’t open her heart to trust anyone because of Everett- Cody’s birth father- the man she murdered. But then someone waltzes into her motel, someone she thinks is a beautiful man. And he turns out to be just that- only he has a big secret that he can’t tell Maisy. Hunter Faraday is a dreamy hero. He has been one of my favorite guys, and almost beat out Jess for my top Devney Book Boyfriend. ALMOST. Even though he has to keep this secret from Maisy, or so he thinks, to keep her safe. He was drawn to Maisy like a moth to a flame the very first time he saw her in Prescott years ago. But now that he is back, seemingly for good- he tries to stay away to protect her. But he just can’t. He wants to belong to her, and her to him. And this story was much about survival and forgiveness- like a lot of Devney’s Jamison Valley books- and I love that. I just love her small town romance series, it’s one of my favorite tropes- and I cannot wait for more things to come from Devney. She is a talent that we need more of in the book world. Her words are effervescent- they breathe new life into a trope that sometimes gets cast by the wayside. Her characters are ones that you can relate too, I can picture myself doing and saying many things these heroines do in her stories, and I can see my husband being all alpha and protective like the heroes do too. Finally I want to say a special thank you to Devney. Thank you so much for these characters and this special series, I will never forget it. The first four were in my top 50 books of 2017- at number five. I don’t know if you know this about me, but I am a huge book nerd and I read at least 20 or so books a month- I read 300 last year alone, and out of ALL of those books, narrowing it to fifty was HARD. But to make it into my top ten is near impossible- and all of your books did just that. So keep up the writing Devney, I don’t want this to be the last I hear of you, and I will talk about you every chance I get.

“She was the big fish. That’s what Dad had always said about my mom. He’d used fishing analogies to teach me about women. Catch the big fish, Son. And when you do, don’t let her go, no matter how hard she fights.” If you’re a follower of my blog, you know I LOVE, ADORE, and genuinely can’t get enough of the Jamison Valley series. There’s just something about these characters, their story, and the authenticity of their interactions that pulls me in every single time. The Bitterroot Inn was no different. Maisy is a character we met in the very first book – fellow nurse and friend of Gigi when she arrives in town. Maisy had a terrible experience that left her scarred and a little bit scared to live life. Running the inn, she finds happiness amongst the leftover turmoil that occasionally swirls inside her. She is one of the most genuine, caring, and heartfelt characters I’ve ever read. Since she was first mentioned a few books ago, I decided right then I wanted to be her best friend and an honorary member of her family. Hunter arrives at the inn, requesting a room, and Maisy pretty much embarrasses herself. (I can absolutely relate to that!) It seems that anytime Hunter is around, Maisy can’t find her words, is in the middle of a mess, or scares him half to death. But it’s in these moments that the two seem to form some sort of bond. I watched them go from strangers, to the beginning of friends, to so much more. This journey was so beautiful, too, because not only did I get to see Maisy and Hunter falling in love, I got to see Hunter fall in love with her little boy. This is one of my favorites in this series. I know I’ve made it sound like everything is simple and an easy path from strangers to romance, but it really wasn’t. There are secrets, plots behind the scenes, and some rollercoaster emotions. Definitely a story that will fulfill your romantic needs, but also just a story that allows us to hope for such a life as these.

“Damn, this woman was going to wreck me. Five minutes with her and I wanted a lifetime.” My very first TOP FAVORITE of 2018 goes to the incredibly talented Devney Perry and her final book in the Jamison Valley Series, THE BITTERROOT INN. I was a newbie to the likes of Ms. Perry and after devouring one novel of hers…ONE…I fell in LOVE with her writing, her characters, and her insane talent. I then binge-read her Jamison Valley series, and night after night, if it was even possible, I fell even harder for her brand of romantic story-telling. This was GREAT for me because I didn’t have to wait long for the highly anticipated final chapter, which is Maisy and Hunter’s story. I did not see this book coming. I mean, I knew it was going to be FANTASTIC, but I had no idea of the emotional punch that it packed. If you ask me if I have a favorite of the series, I won’t be able to answer that. Each book rocked my soul. Each character stole my heart. Each word, page, chapter, novel…fed my addiction for all things romance and I can’t tell you how HAPPY that I am to have found such greatness in Devney Perry’s books. Now that this series has come to an end, I don’t know what I’ll do. I’ll probably reread these books over and over again to quench my thirst, but what I DO KNOW is that we haven’t heard the last of Ms. Perry. 2017 is the year that I fell in love with this series. 2018 will be the year that other readers will discover the genius that is Devney Perry. “Our first kiss was going to be the lasting kind. The kind she’d never forget. The kiss that erased all others from her past.” Those of you who have been waiting for Maisy’s happily ever after, get ready for one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. It’s beautiful. It’s heartbreaking. It’s surprising. It’s EPIC. But you already know this going in if you’ve read the others in the series. THE BITTERROOT INN will ground your heart, embrace your soul, and wreck your mind. You will cry tears of joy and tears of sadness, but in the end…you will have great satisfaction in knowing that this happily ever after was worth all of it. What a way to start off the NEW YEAR! I can’t wait to see what this romantic mastermind has in store for us next! *ARC provides by the author*

What a great ending to, what has become, one of my favorite series. Ever since The Coppersmith Farmhouse, I have been waiting to see Maisy get her happy ending. After all that she has been through and all that she does for others, you can't help but root for her. In walks Hunter, the alpha with a tender heart. He is completely swoon-worthy! The chemistry in this book is off the charts, but besides that at the heart is a solid plot with secrets, healing, and love. I have become so invested in all the characters in these books that I sorry to see it end, but the ride was well worth it. I can't wait to see what Devney writes next!

How Devney Perry can get better with each book I have no idea but she does. I loved the first four books in the series and the final installment was amazing. Bitterroot Inn is one of my favorite of the series!!! It has all my musts for a five star read. Everything from Uber alpha Hunter, hot sexy pages that keep you up late reading, lots of twists and turns, tons of mystery and characters that you won’t forget. Few books make me cry but this beauty did it more then once. Maisy’s story has been a long time coming and I am glad it’s here. While you don’t necessarily need to read the other books before this it would definitely give you more background if you did. Hunter shows up at Maisy’s Inn and the sparks and mystery start with a bang. I loved how crazy in depth Devney went with the mystery! Hunter had secrets from the start and I never would of guessed what they were. I had my theories and poof they were demolished a few times. Maisy has had a tough few years and the author knows how to twist the heart and gut you with Maisy’s rocky journey. She has to go through a bit of heartache and healing. I won’t spoil it for you but the ending it worth the amazing ride you take. Maisy’s son Coby was such a heartwarming addition to the book. Bitterroot Inn has some depth to it and not one with fluff. It’s a love story with well developed characters and a rich storyline. You need to set some time aside to read this amazing story and peel back it’s many layers. The way she braided all the family and friends into this book was one of the many highlights of this story. I read a lot of romance and this is one of the best series I’ve read ever. Dive in with a cup of tea and get ready to laugh a lot, cry a little and swoon over Devney’s alpha guys that rival any I’ve been lucky enough to read.

The perfect end to the Jamison Valley series. After The Outpost (and Beau, swoon...), my expectations for Maisy's story were set high. And Devney did not disappoint. The heroine who fell on hard times in the first book, and that I've come to admire more with each new chapter in the series, meets the dreamy Hunter Faraday in this final book. Her baggage plus his secrets equal the perfect amount of intrigue to keep you invested in their love story. This book has the perfect amount of romance, real life, alpha male, strong heroine, steam, and smooth pacing that will keep your pages turning. All of our favorite Prescott residents make an appearance for us to check in on their happily-ever-afters. And the epilogue - I can't even. It weaves all of the beautiful story strands into a perfectly crafted bow that will make you want to smile, tear up, and read it all over from the beginning. This is a series that you can fall in love with. I certainly did and the feelings have gotten stronger with each book. Though I hate to leave Prescott behind, I will not hesitate to one-click and read anything that Devney Perry writes in the future. Her signature blend with the perfect bit of everything will hook even the most seasoned romance reader with fresh stories, lovingly written with the happiest of endings. P.S. If I said PERFECT too many times it is because I couldn't find a stronger or more adequate synonym.

and this is one of the BEST series I've EVER read! I'm so sad and lost right now! I just finished an amazing series and I was NOT ready for that! I want more, I need the characters again, I crave all those feelings I got in Jamison Valley!! When I started The Coppersmith Farmhouse months ago, I didn't know what to expect. It was a new author to me, but I'd heard so many good things I had to try. And it was a decision I'll always carry with me as an amazing one. I found a new author I love, I found a new world to lost myself in, I found characters that touch me deep and make me dream and believe and laugh and love and hope! "We all had our special places. For Jess and Gigi, it was the Farmhouse. Nick and Emmeline's was the chapel where they had gotten married. For Silas and Felicity, it was their ranch. Beau and Sabrina would forever cherish the outpost where they had spent their first months together. And for me, my happy starteed the day Hunter Faraday walked into The Bitterroot Inn and changed my life forever" And they all changed mine! Each book had something unique, something we could learn from, a way to be a better person! Each character touched me somehow and each story left a mark! And in The Bitterroot Inn it was no different. Not only we saw all the other characters again and loved them one more time, but now we got to meet the so-waited and so-worth-to-wait-for Maisy's story! It was so beautiful, so poignant, so mesmerizing! Devney's writing is exquisite, her plots are jaw-opening and her characters are relatable. We can so easily connect with them. "Maisy Holt was pure joy. She was goodness personified. She was a beam of sunshine breaking through the clouds in my life" Maisy is amazing! She went through the unthinkable a few years ago (in The Coopersmith Farmhouse) but she survived. She survived phisically and emotionally! She is resilient, strong, brave, independent, but she is also strong enough to take help, to be vulnerable, to love deeply and give second chances in life and love. She is remarkable! Hunter was incredible! If you read carefully The Lucky Heart you may or may not see him (subtle hint). He was sexy, intelligent, charming, but he was also loving, sweet, caring, a protector by nature and someone you can rely on. "I'm the man falling in love with you, Maisy. I'm the man falling in love with your son" He brought some intense secrets that had the power to change everything. But his love for Maisy and Coby was so deep and unquestionable that left me speechless. "I'd come to Prescott with a plan: to look out for this beautiful soul. My plan had just changed. Now I was here to win her heart" As the story develops, you start to realize this and that, you start to try put two and two together, and it gets just more exciting. And at the same time, they grow closer and closer, loving each other so damn much, and they start to actually be a family. You can feel it, you can almost touch it, you believe! It's not rushed or forced, you just get the words and conclude that is true. They way Devney wrote their story left breathless, in awe, stunned and begging for more. As the pages went by, I wanted to read faster to get to their happily ever after. But I was dreading the end. I didnt want it to end. And now, as I said before. I'm lost and said. But it's a good kind of sad. It's the sad that means it was wrothy. It's the sad that means I'm gonna miss it. It's the sad that leave me searching and searchin

The Bitterroot Inn by Devney Perry is the fifth and final book in her fabulous Jamison valley series. And finally.... Maisey's story! What an amazing conclusion to this unbelievably beautiful series! Maisey is still not over the trauma of what happened with the father of her baby. He had kidnapped her and threatened her best friends life if she didn't take pills to cause an abortion that would probably also kill her. She saved both herself and Gigi by killing him before he killed them. She was a hero, but only views herself as a murderer. Now, living a busy life with her 4 year old son, Coby, she has the Inn she purchased and her family and friends to keep her occupied. She gave up nursing and never stepped a foot inside that hospital where everything happened again. She is good, but she isn't great. Hunter has been around Maisey since the day she went into the hospital the next town over to give birth to Coby. He had his own motives for being there but cannot get her out of his mind. A few years have passed and he is back in Prescott and staying at the inn while his house is being built. He is completely drawn to Maisey and to Coby but knows that with his past he MUST take it slow and build their relationship before he scares her away with the details of his past. Emotional, gut-wrenching, heart-warming. Their aren't enough awesome book adjectives to describe this story or this series. Maisey has been a secondary character throughout the series and this has been a slow build to finally see her heal, fall in love, and put the terrible past behind her. LOVED THIS!!!!

I completely loved this story. We have long waited to hear Maisy’s story and it did NOT disappoint. Completely hot, hot, hot! Hunter. Wowza. I could use me a Hunter! As much hotness as there was, there were also sweet and endearing parts, as well as parts that made my heart race and kept me turning page after page. I devoured this story in just a matter of hours, Devney Perry does it again!!! You will not be disappointed.

This was exactly the conclusion I needed to Jamison Valley. Absolutely loved it
