Dr. E.W. Kenyon searched for a deeper meaning in the Lord's supper (Communion), and was led to study the Blood Covenant. During this time, a copy of Dr. Trumbull's book 'The Blood Covenant' was given to Dr. Kenyon to aid him in his search. The result of this research into the blood covenant was the basis for a series of lectures on this subject by Kenyon which later became this little booklet.

Kenyon is influenced by Trumbull, but tends to apply the lessons of the blood covenant more broadly to the relationship a believer has with God as a result of the Blood Covenant in Jesus. This is an excellent book in that regard. The proof of the universality of the blood covenant is mentioned in passing, giving credit to Trumbull's work, but no new ground is plowed in this area. The book is far more interested in the Christian application of the principles of the blood covenant than it is in discovering and identifying those principles as is the case in Trumbull's work.

Kenyon's booklet on God's Blood Covenants is a small but power-packed little tool to introduce the reader to the concept of Covenant. This book explains in a concise manner how Covenant is foundational to the believer and brings real revelation into the relationship with our Covenant God. Every Christian seeking to know God or to know God better should begin by reading this book! God does nothing apart from Covenant. If this is true, isn't this topic worth checking out?
