About the Author

Will Hahn has been in love with heroic tales since age four, when his father read him the Lays of Ancient Rome and the Tales of King Arthur. He taught Ancient-Medieval History for years, but the line between this world and others has always been thin; the far reaches of fantasy, like the distant past, still bring him face to face with people like us, who have choices to make.
Will has written about the Lands of Hope since his college days (which by now are also part of ancient history). His published tales include a dark romance novelette of the early days, two novellas in the series Shards of Light, and the first novel-length tale of the Lands, The Plane of Dreams. These titles are available on Barnes and Noble as well as other online retailers.

The Book of Tales marks Will’s first collaboration with an illustrator, and he could not be more pleased to be working with Teddy Newby who has benefitted this project with his vision and enthusiasm.

Teddy Newby is an 18-year-old aspiring artist living in Wilmington, DE. He has been home-schooled since third grade and has been drawing for as long as he can remember. Animal and Hero Tales is the first book Teddy has illustrated and he has loved working with Will Hahn! Teddy hopes to be a director and animator after attending college and has won numerous awards in the Wilmington Fringe Festival's annual filmmaking competition.
