John Powell has created an interesting soundtrack here, using the orchestra as well as drums and guitars. It would seem an odd mix, something from Michael Kamen, but it is able to be pulled off, creating some of the tension as seen in the 2002 Doug Liman film. It works real well and the music is great for classical listeners and rock and roll fans. Powell has done a great job, resulting in my third favorite movie and soundtrack of 2002. The 55 minutes of music go by fairly quickly.

The name of the credits song is "Extreme Ways" by Moby. It's a good song but not on the score.

If you are hoping for the exciting music of the car chase, or the songs that give it the musical intrique of European flavor, they are not on this soundtrack. It was like buying the soundtrack from ''Oh,Brother, Where art Thou'' and they left out the songs. I feel ripped off.

I love this movie and the music, but I can't find the song that comes with the credits. The primary lyric is "then it fell apart." It is not on the CD!!? which was very disappointing.

This CD is without a doubt an excellent addition to any CD collection. Not only does the music keep us engaged in the movie, but it creates its own atmosphere when listened to outside of the film environment. The theme "Bourne on Land is being used as background for the upcoming episodes of the new hit HBO series "Rome". By the way, to those who do not know, the end credits song is called, "Extreme Ways" by Moby who is related to Herman Melville. Cool, eh?
