The Boys From Tommytown takes us back to a time in Washington County¿s history. A time when a person¿s worth was something to be gained. Barry Foreman, the hero of the story, faces some of childhood¿s hardest blows and endures with a strengthened faith. The author has a wonderful ability. He is able to transport his reader back to another time. The story takes place in the 1950¿s, but his descriptions of the suffering and harsh experiences of her main character involve human emotions that are just as relevant in today¿s world, wherever children are victims of oppression. The author¿s talent and diligent research have resulted in an exciting sequel novel that keeps his readers mesmerized.
