The Cann Family and Desserts by Kathy Carniero is a precious book that not only entertains but teaches at the same time. I loved the vibrant illustrations and the clever storyline. I can see where this tale would be really fun for children. It’s enlightening and eye-catching. Learning better food choices at a young age is such a good thing. What a valuable lesson. Better to be educated early on so the child will have a happier and healthier life. We can all gain something from this. This story made learning fun. I would highly recommend this book to all parents and school systems. This would be great if it could be taught in classrooms. So positive and necessary.  I loved that there was the Family Project where parents and kids can make healthier dessert choices together. As a family they can make a list of all the healthy desserts you can choose at the store.
