Truly an exceptional story of bravery and heroism -- full of history and discovery -- the author really takes you on a journey back to Germany during one of the most unforgettable times in world history. A "what if" ending . If you liked reading "The Titanic" then you'll enjoy this story for sure.
I enjoyed reading this book. The author took a lot of time researching his family. It was very interesting reading about someone who chose the lifestyle considering who she really was and where she came from. I enjoyed reading about the Albany Ny connection living so near Albany today and knowing the locations exactly.. Not to mention this story Is about my very own relatives.
