About the Author
Mark Douglas Brown is a respected authority on the life and times of American gangster Al Capone, having conducted tours of Alcatraz Island and presented popular lectures there, been interviewed by Hannah Murray on BBC affiliate Talk Radio Europe, written the book Capone: Life Behind Bars at Alcatraz, and authored the app "Capone: Behind Bars at Alcatraz." An experienced researcher and public speaker, he lives with his family in northern California.
