About the Author
She is a former educator having taught at Tulsa Community College and Community Care College (Tulsa, OK); Moraine Valley Community College (Palos Hills, IL), and Columbia College (Chicago, IL), which is her home state.
Virginia is an avid keynote speaker, storyteller and prison ministry lay preacher. During her 30 plus years of ministry, she has preached in over 50 churches, spanning five states; four prisons (including Statesville Penitentiary, where she received the volunteer of the year award) and conducted numerous workshops in schools, churches, businesses, etc.
She is the mother of three birth children and two step-children and the NaNa to three blood grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. She currently lives in Bristow, OK and is married to John H. Harrison.
