About the Author

Erica Axelrod graduated with a major in English Literature from Penn State University, then received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, she attended the Detention Center in Miami and helped Haitian refugees seek asylum. She passed the Bar in Pennsylvania and Nevada and practiced immigration law and housing law in Las Vegas. Her passion in the law has been to help refugees and low-income clients in a legal services organization. However, when she had her first child, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom, and now loves spending time with her husband and three children in Longview, Texas. The Case of the Russian Doll is her first novel.
