About the Author

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.

A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow.

Since publishing her first book in 2013, K. has sold over one million copies of her books and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over twenty-five times.

In April, she’ll release The Player, the first in a two-book sports romance series (The Catch, book 2, will be released late June), with many more already outlined and ready to be written.

She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media or sign up for her newsletter to stay up to date on all her latest releases and sales:

Amazed again by kristys work! I finished it in one day because I couldn't put it down; I laughed, I cried, loved it and love how she incorporates disabilities and diseases and "real life" situations into her books.

I had been waiting for this one to release. Then I was without wifi for days after. I devoured The Catch as soon as I could. An excellent conclusion to The Player. Ms. Bromberg has a new fan in me. I loved Scout and Easton's relationship development and was totally blown away by the twist!!!!

So, as you might remember from my review, The Player left off on a big cliffhanger. So when I started this one, I was ready to find out exactly what had happened. And at first, I was a bit confused based on what was happening. But let me tell you what, Bromberg's writing must have a direct connection to my tear ducts, because her books always make me cry! And this one was no exception. I totally understood why Easton was upset on the one hand, but I don't think it makes sense for him to blame Scout the way he did, because it makes no sense that she would do something that also made her lose her chance at getting the contract for her dad's practice if she was doing what Easton thought she was doing. And then of course there is the secret that Easton has, and when we find it out, it is somewhat along the lines of what I'd thought. When Easton finally realizes that what Scout did was her trying to make the best decision she could at the drop of a hat with no support from him or his agent, I liked how it happened. I feel like that was a pretty realistic way of handling it all. When Easton got drunk, he was so cute. I loved that part. And it seemed as if all of it was resolved so quickly, and I knew there would be more. Of course there was with his secret. But not just that, I knew the part about Santiago had been alluded to over and over throughout the first book and this one as well, so I was not shocked when my hunches were proven to be correct. And with that situation, I am so glad that Easton didn't get drawn into the whole thing of thinking that Scout was lying to him about that, when she wasn't at all, I feel like that was so much more realistic than how it is normally turned into big drama for a similar thing in other stories. Again, I loved this book. Made me so ready for baseball season here in Kansas City, even though after losing my favorite, Eric Hosmer, it seems like we may be back to the less successful Royals team I grew up with most of my life. I'm pretty sure I'll read any and everything that Bromberg writes, and you should pick her books up too! Also, I love Andi Arndt's narrating, she pretty much will make me listen to anything. And I'm beginning to become quite the fan of Joe Arden as well.

Kristy Bromberg knows exactly how to write a Spectacular Story!♡♡♡ Another Homerun Hit way out of the Park! Easton and Scout went through so much in The Player that you'd think there wouldn't be anymore drama that could befall them, but it does. I love Easton & Scout and their resilience, love and trust in one another to overcome even the worst of what is thrown their way, and the beautiful way they emerge on top, together and stronger than before!!♥♥ Baseball Fans and Romance Fans alike, this is a Winning Series♥♡♥♡♥♡

The Catch is the conclusion to Easton and Scout's book, and it is a very raw and emotional ride at times. Things I expected to happen, didn't, but things that did happen I never saw coming. I laughed, I cried, I swooned and got mad several times. Their love is tested, but sometimes someone comes along that loves the parts of you no one else knows how to love, and that person makes you strong when you are weak, makes you happy when you are sad, and helps you face things you never thought you would have to face. This is a passionate story of relationships, friends, family, and unconditional love. A kind of love that allows you to grow, change and mature as is the case with Scout and Easton. The relationship between Easton and his mom is so special and at the same time so bittersweet. And I absolutely loved Daisy, the how and why of her, you will have to read the book to find out what I am talking about. I highly recommend this duet to any romance lover, and if you have never read a book by K. Bromberg, you are in for a real treat. Five magical stars for this one!!

K. Bromberg hits it out of the park. AGAIN! She wrapped up Scout and Easton's story with style, dishing out both heat and heart in abundance and leaving me stunned with a shocking twist I never saw coming. I had to endure an intensely emotional roller-coaster ride, but in the end my heart was bursting with joy as Scout and Easton find happiness with all the things they never knew they wanted or needed. Another beautiful, sexy and intensely emotional story from this author.

Clear mind, full heart Hero, Easton = 5/5 Heroine, Scout = 5/5 Secondary Characters = t/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 5/5 Mystery = 5/5 Action = 4/5 Darkness = 2/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = Dual POV Ending = HEA, No cliffhanger Stars = 5 ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Author = K. Bromberg Would I recommend this book = Yes Would I re-read this book = Yes Would I read future books by this author = Yes First and foremost, this is the 2nd book in a duet. The first book is titled "The Player." This duet is by far one of the best reads I've had in 2017. This book started out with a curveball. So much drama, lies, mystery, and confusion. I didn't know which character to trust. As the plot thickens, so does the lies, until it all comes out. BAM! I'm left speechless. My emotions are a wreck and I feel extremely sad for Easton. It definitely is so much information to take in that I know it's not a walk in the park for him. So much betrayal. As for Scout, she is a very strong heroine. That's for sure! What she does for Easton and how she processes the facts is simply amazing. Scout is the glue that holds Easton together. Without her, I would hate to see how Easton turns out. K. Bromberg, you absolutely hit this one out of the park. With the bases loaded, you won the World Series with this duet. I loved every single word and now include this duet as one of my rereads in the future. I fell in love with Easton. He's mine! Thank you for a fantastic duet

4.5 stars--THE CATCH is the second installment in K. Bromberg’s contemporary, adult THE PLAYER erotic, romance duet focusing on professional baseball player Easton Wylder, and physical therapist Scout Dalton. Their continuing story follows the fall-out of perceived betrayal, months of rehabilitation, and a shocking revelation that will upend everything Easton thought he knew about family and love. THE CATCH should not be read as a stand alone as it continues immediately upon the events and the cliffhanger ending of book one-THE PLAYER. Told from dual first person points of view (Easton and Scout) THE CATCH focuses on Easton and Scout’s fractured relationship; the prospect of betrayal; and Easton’s spiral out of control as his baseball career and potential future with the team come to a crashing halt. Following a near-career ending injury, and months of painful rehabilitation, Easton Wylder is blind sided when management makes other plans. Choices are made; friendships destroyed; and family loyalties are questioned from every side. What ensues is the breakdown of a relationship, a family, and a possible future when more than one betrayal destroys Easton’s confidence in everything that he once loved. THE CATCH is a story of one man’s star that begins to plummet and the realization about how much his life and luck are out of his control. K. Bromberg adds some shocking twists and turns to a story line where betrayal comes at a cost; jealousy is more than an ugly word; and family obligation is never a guarantee of love or a happily ever after. THE CATCH is an emotional story where your heart will break for a young man whose life will begin to spiral out of his control. The premise is creative and imaginative ; the characters are passionate, charismatic and energetic; the romance is intimate, breathtaking and provocative. K. Bromberg’s THE PLAYER Duet is an intoxicating series about life, love, and the dreams of what was, and what could have been.

A Review of The Catch by K. Bromberg Easton and Scout - the conclusion - 5+++++ stars Easton is flabbergasted after he finds out that he's been traded from the Ace's baseball team. There are still secrets that haven't been fully revealed from the first book and I was just dying to know what Scout saw in the papers that hit the floor. I was sure that she was going to clear him for play, but something she saw in those papers changed her mind and she panicked. Ms. Bromberg definitely knows how to pull on your heartstrings with her stories. We already know that Doc is dying and there isn't going to be a way to change that, but it's the quality of life that he has left that is the main focus. Then, there are his motives of pushing Scout away and asking her to push for the contract with the Ace's team. Both of these characters are broken in some way and it's how they bring the best out of each other and give the other what neither of them realized they needed. This book deals with several painful issues, but there is also a lot of love. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to have all the 'feels' when they read a story, but make sure you read the first book prior to this one. **Honest review voluntarily provided from a Complimentary Copy**

Omg...this book!!! I loved every word!!! Baseball royalty Easton Wylder and Scout Dalton have so many hurtles thrown at them throughout The Catch that I found myself yelling at my ereader. My comments went something like this: "Seriously're gonna do that to them?" "Oh come on already!!!" "I effing hate you Santiago" "Tillman you're a douche." (Asking my husband) "Would I look like a creeper if I just went to some random Little League game and watched the kids play? You just relax." When you think Easton and Scout can't possibly handle one more hurtle.....another one comes at them. Secrets are exploding everywhere. Can they withstand the challenges thrown their way? Doc likes to say..."Clear mind. Full Heart." That's how you handle life and its crap. This book is perfection.
