Subtitle: A How-to Guide For Turning On Your Leadership Power
Charisma is a learnable skill, and the simple secret to becoming charismatic is to look, act and feel like a charismatic person. But what does that mean? The Charisma Edge explains the nine basic areas you can effect and develop to increase your executive presence and make a more immediate, compelling and powerful connection with the important people around you. These areas include specific instructions about your charismatic bearing, attire, handshake, gestures and expressions, words, articulation, voice, ability to master your nerves and your attitude and identity. The book uses a practical, tips-based format (there are 101 of them), with exercises that are simple, but based on well-documented neurological research about the physical and psychological wiring of confidence. Ms. Burnham explains not only what to do to become more charismatic, but she gives explicit instructions about how to do it, and why it works based on your natural human system. With this book, you will easily practice, learn, and become your best, most charismatic self.
