Daniel and Mary Tracy had ten children: Two of whom were born in Ireland; four of whom were born in Grand Isle, Vermont; and four of whom were born in Plattsburgh, New York. One child, John died at the age of 2. Daniel Tracy was a farmer and the boys would help their father on the family farm while Mary Tracy made dresses for the girls out of linens and materials she got from Ireland when she left it was said. These are the stories and biographies of the children of Irish immigrants. It is to their memories that this work is lovingly dedicated.
