I started dieting when I was a young woman of 20, and I went from one unsuccessful diet to the next, then spent years despairing over my ballooning weight, but the craving for food was just to great and try as I might I could never get away from it, all I ever wanted to do was eat, I could start a diet in the morning, smell something nice in the afternoon and have a cheese loaded pizza on my plate by tea time and I hated myself for my weakness, I also hated being overweight, but I felt defeated and was of the opinion that I would never get the better of my eating problem, but then something wonderful happened I MADE UP THE CHILLI SAUCE and it changed my life, for the first time in my adult life I started a diet regime and did not want to break it, I can diet for months on end and not even think about foods such as cake and chocolate (which have always been a weakness) and I don,t know why the chilli sauce has this effect on me, I really cannot explain it. But researchers at a Canadian university found that eating chillies increases your metabolic rate which gives your body extra energy enabling it to burn the fat much faster than when you are on an ordinary diet, they also found that chilli helps as an appetite suppressant, helping to stop the desires for the fatty foods that keep us all fat and I don,t think I should forget to mention the wonderful flavour the chilli sauce gives when mixed with other foods. Its so delicious and of course I now have the control that has always eluded me.
