Chocolate expert Chantelle Cummings arrives in Marietta, Montana with two goals—sign copies of her new book and research a quaint local chocolate shop. When she meets a gorgeous guy passing out chocolate samples, her visit turns sweeter than she ever imagined. The man melts her heart, but her dream of working in France with her family makes her hesitant to pursue a romance.

Former Air Force captain York Parker has one month before embarking upon a consulting career. He never expected to be selling chocolates, but he’s happy to help his sister and her boss. He also likes spending time with sassy, pretty Chantelle. His new coworker may have the chocolate touch, but he’d rather taste her decadent kisses… until he learns the real reason she’s in town.

Will the truth harden his heart, or will love pave the way to a sweet future?

Chantelle Cummings is focused on making her family proud enough to welcome her into the family business. While researching Copper Mountain Chocolates she finds the one thing she wasn't looking for. York Parker is in town visiting his sisters for a month before he starts a new job that will have him travelling around. He has no interest in things that will tie him down. Soon the two find themselves working behind the counter of the local chocolate shop with attraction for one another flying. Can the two figure out how to make both of there dreams come true to build a future or will a secret get in there way? I loved this book! Chantelle's dream of working in the family business really drew me in. This whole series has left me excited for the next one and is a must read!

A sweet romance with a touch of mystery! This is a story where chocolate, secrets and dreams all play significant roles. Take one chocolatier author promoting her latest book, send her to Marietta where there’s an amazing Chocolate shop, add in her family’s firm and her dreams then mix together with a potential love interest and you’ve got yourself a really sweet romance! Chantelle Cummins is the author who is seriously attracted to the hunk handing out chocolate samples at her book signing. The man in question is York Parker - readers of this series may remember his sisters Dakota and Nevada from previous stories. He’s an ex-Air Force captain who is soon to start a new career but is helping out his sister first. The attraction between Chantelle and York is passionate, hot yet sweet but once the hidden agenda behind her visit is revealed will their love melt away or prove strong enough to ensure a tasty future ahead for them? This is another great series written by different authors based, this time, on the Chocolate Shop. It is a light, easy read with enough intrigue to keep the reader entertained and engaged. A delightful story to read relaxing on the beach or curled up in front of the fire - whatever is appropriate for the season! I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion after choosing to read it.

Yet another great addition to the Love at the Chocolate Shop series. Chantelle is in town for a book signing, and to do some research on Sage's chocolate shop for her uncle, a well-known chocolatier in France. York is in town to spend time with his sisters after leaving the Air Force and before starting his next career. They end up in close proximity due to York filling in at the chocolate shop for a vacationing employee, and then when Portia ends up in the hospital, Chantelle fills in as well. I love all of the characters. Everyone was so likable. I really wish Marietta was a real town I could visit. I would be a regular at the chocolate shop for sure.

Like a chocolate truffle, you'll want to savor this sweet story. Starting with the meet cute, the journey of romance is laden with flavor until a little pinch of pain leads to a misunderstanding seen as subterfuge, mix in forgiveness, a dash of family bonds, and a whole lot of of love. A must read romance!

Another delicious read form Love at the Chocolate Shop series. Chantelle has arrived in Marietta for signing of her book and get the inside scoop of the Chocolate Shop, not expecting to fall in love with York. York is home for one month before starting his job, and helping out at the Chocolate Shop during this time. Their is a mutual attraction between the two, but the one secret that Chantelle is keeping from everyone might destroy everything. I loved how their relationship built but both afraid to move forward with their relationship, neither one here permanently. Great to catch up with the other Chocolateers!! Loved the gratitude quest! My favorite line, "She did have the chocolate touch. Chocolate had brought her everything she dreamed about and a little extra too".

A sweet, heartfelt romance. Chantelle Cummings is in Marietta, Montana promoting her new book, The Chocolate Touch, but she also has a hidden agenda. She is looking for new recipes for her family's chain of chocolate shops in France. Once she gets what she wants, she will be moving on. Former Air Force captain York Parker, is in Marietta for a month before he starts his new career. Until then, he will be helping out at the Copper Mountain Chocolates with his sister. York and Chantelle meet at the book store where Chantelle is singing her new book. There was something about Chantelle that York couldn’t seem to forget. York had no idea Chantelle would end up temporarily working at the shop too when Portia, a pregnant worker, ends up in the hospital. They soon find themselves sharing more than just a passion for chocolate. I wasn't ready for this book to come to an end. I would have loved a longer story with these two characters. They had great chemistry together and the story kept me interested the entire time. Hopefully they will be revisited in a future book.

York Parker is on hiatus between leaving the Air Force and starting his consulting job. He’s volunteered to help out Sage Carrigan O’Dell and his sister, Dakota, at Copper Mountain Chocolates while one of the other workers takes care of some business out of town. His starting gig is to give out chocolates at a book signing where he is literally run into by Chantelle Cummings, the author. He’s finds himself taken by her and finds himself with opportunity to really get to know her when she also volunteers to help out Sage. Little does Parker know that Chantelle is related to a well-known chocolate company based in France. As their relationship grows, will Chantelle’s pursuits for her family’s business ruin all chances for a long lasting relationship with Parker? It sure looks like it!

The Chocolate Touch by Melissa McClone, book eight in the Love at the Chocolate Shop series is another winner. This is Ms. McClone’s third book in the series and features York Parker the older brother of Dakota and Nevada, the heroines of her two previous books. York is spending time in Marietta visiting his sisters after leaving the Air Force and before he begins a job that will have him travelling the world. Dakota puts York to work covering for Rosie at Sage’s chocolate shop. Blogger Chantelle Cummings is in Marietta to promote her book and research Copper Mountain Chocolates. Once she is done she will move to France to work for the family’s chocolate company. Neither one is looking for a long term relationship but like the taste of chocolate, one never knows what life will bring your way. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I often get drawn into the books written by Ms. McClone as she is a wonderful story teller. I highly recommend this book to other readers and I for one look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
