If I could define this book in one word, I’d choose the word “Love”. As we read through each page and chapter we begin to see our own reflection as Mark shares his feelings and emotions. From the moment I began to read, my spirit began to receive from God. Reading about Mark’s personal life, struggles, battles, experiences and thoughts allowed me to see my life in a whole new perspective. We all struggle with sin, regardless if it’s the same or different type from the ones mentioned in this book. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). This book not only allows the reader to reevaluate their relationship with God, but also their relationship with family and friends. Years can pass by us quickly, and if we choose to live a life full of secrets, our life will pass by us even faster. When one decides to make a choice like Mark mentions, one begins to live the life God had designed for them to live out. This book will give the reader hope, encouragement, understanding, strength, and a spiritual push to move forward in Christ by simply dedicating their life to God, and inviting the Holy Spirit into their heart. As I read the book it confirmed a word the Lord once gave me. When we struggle with sin, temptations, doubt, fear, insecurities etc., we can either allow Jesus Christ to reign in every area of our life, or only allow him access to certain areas. If you find yourself struggling with sexual sin, or any type of sin allow Jesus Christ to be King in that area of your life. Make a choice today, just like Mark and many others continue to do so every day. Run towards Jesus Christ today, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you through the life of victory and freedom God has created for you to live. –Kelvin Rivera (Silent Art Ministries)
