I couldn't wait for this fifth book in The Color of Heaven series to be released. As with the other books in this series, I read it in one day, because I simply couldn't put it down. I could feel the spiral of emotions Audrey went through, and never saw Alex's secret coming. I loved the relationships that formed with the various characters. There are references to the previous stories that tie all of these books together, but they can also be read as stand alones. However, don't miss reading each of these books, because they are just too good to miss one of them! The author's writing style is really compelling, and she is so gifted in continuously coming up with twists and tie-ins that take the reader's breath away. So glad The Color of Love comes out soon! Read. This. Series. So good!

This is a story about Life... The fears, the self-doubt, the pain...the laughter, joy and Love. Audrey and Alex were so real and their story is a must read!

I have read Ms. MacLean's other books but found these books the most engaging. My daughters and I find how she weaves a connection from book to book so interesting, teaching us that that stranger we meet may become the most important person in our lives. We can not wait for August 11 and the next installment.

Five stars for this sweet and tender story. I absolutely love "The Color of" stories. So far each book has been captivating, and this one is too. I urge you to read the series as each story is wonderful. Each one draws the reader in and you fall in love with every character. The stories can be read as a stand alone book, but each one builds upon the previous one. Characters spill over into the next story - which is nice as you already have a relationship with them - and they happily introduce you to new characters. ***** esk 02/2018 *****
