Watt's book deals with his experience in WWII as a bomber crew member shot down over Europe and the assistance rendered by the underground "Comet Connection." However, he does include some reminiscence of his time in Spain. Most poignantly, he recalls how hard his decision was to discard his wife's letters as he lightened his kit during the Retreats. Well worth reading.
