Even though I am not a newcomer to the Craft, I find this book very valuable to keep around. It is a quick reference guide and whenever any one asks me questions, it's allot easier to just hand them the book! 2 thumbs up!

This was the first book on Wicca I've bought and it's one of my favorites. It gives the basic information on Wiccan along with some spells and other useful information. If you're a more advanced witch I'd get some more advanced books but anyone who's just curious or is a beginner should really get this book.

I really liked this book! It gives all of the basic information of wicca and a lot of more 'advanced' information. This is a great book for beginning witches. I would recommend this book even to advanced witches and even High Priests and High Priestesses because it gives many different view points. I'd also recommend it to anyone who's just exploring the religion. It's great.

This book is excelent and simple to understand for the beginner like me. The book is the best I have found so far for a beginner in this subject.

To really practice Wicca you have to jump right into the middle of it. And the middle isn't easy. This book tries to make it too simple. There's nothing simple about Wicca, and Witchcraft is difficult from square one. Save your money!

This book is really great for anyone who is curious in learning about Wicca. It is good although, for those more advanced in Wicca but the first few chapters are better for those new to the religon. It talks about the Ancients,Fairys, Elements, Watchtowers, Seasons, Holidays, Rituals, Spells, Stones, Herbs, Oils, other books, websites, different veiws, Summoning, Sturring... I have been studying Wicca for 5 years now and I totally recomend it for anyone interested in or all ready a part of the Craft.

This is a good book on Wicca but has the unfortunate situation of having a bad title. If you're a Complete Idiot then you won't really understand Wicca much less practice it. There are many other titles that will give you a solid introduction to Wicca.

I was pleasantly surprised when I paged through this book at the store and eventually took it home. The authors cover a wide array of subject that will be of interest to anyone who is trying to find out what the craft is all about. Rich in vocabulary, information and traditions with little touches of extra information that allow the reader to use as a springboard if they want to continue studying. I wanted to add this to my library so I have a good solid book to give to friends who are new to the craft and needed a place to start.
