Read this very quickly. Nice story, but Ivy's hard-headed behvior when looking at all the facts was grating at times. Not that it is not believable, just exasperating.

This series isn't up to par with some of the authors newer material. At times, I really got into it and at other moments I wanted to throw my nook against the wall ...especially when the contradictory heroine with same ol agreements arose. Also her indecisiveness kills me. However with all the character flaws I do recommend if you love the talented Mrs. Baldon give it a try.

I can appriciate the characters of this story as indecisive or flaky because of their end secrets. I can also appriciate the story line, as it is mostly believable because of real life drama and situations we can all relate to or know someone with similar circumstances. This is the third series I have read so far of Mrs. Deborah Blandon, I am not disappointed, but I would be careful with the punctuation, please. Commas and periods, etc. go on the inside of the quotes with no space in between. I am not perfect either. Other than that great story and easy to read, more please!

While I always have to at least finish a series to see how a story ends, I found these books to be disappointing. The author never really went into much detail about why the characters felt how they did or how they worked through their issues. I'm not a fan of a newer trend I've been seeing with some authors where they write books only 75-100 pages long, but have like 4 books in the series. Why not just call it all one book? I like the New Adult Contemporary Romance books, and while this had promise, I just felt the story was rushed, there were many typo errors in the text, and many chapters ended with the main character making a grand statement of emotion that didn't really follow through. I purchased this as a bundle, but it is not "complete" as the title states- the author is putting a short continuation, free of charge, on her website in November. Another series, "Pulse" is a about another character in this series, so hopefully that one will prove to be a better, steamier story!
