I am a high school student and I am doing my English Research Project. I read this book, I think this book was good. When I first time I saw the cover of this book that attract me, because the cover looks like the sunset and the pyramids. It's seem mysterious. Also for the content of this book, that's so plentiful. There are lots of details that describe the pyramid and the culture of Egypt, author give lots of examples that to explain what he say in this book. Also there are lots of pictures in the book, that can help me more understand what they say in the book, when I don't understand in the book I can see the pictures of that, so that I think I can understand very clearly. But for author's writing, sometimes that's very hard to understand. Author always use some official language to write it. So if there don't have picture I think I can't understand what the author say in the book.

I am a high school student doing a research project.  I found this book very helpful, it contains many useful information. For example ; the book has descriptive material on of the landscape  of the pyramids, detailed illustrations and crucial dates. Also this book contains the Chronology of the pyramid builders and all of their dynasty. The book contains many historical facts, but also recent discoveries that were helpful for me to expand my knowledge.  with the time periods.  One thing I did not find so helpful at times was that they had many examples of different pyramids, it got  overwhelming with too many names. Another thing was that sometimes it would go of track and talk about tales of the specific pyramid.  However a very useful took in the book are the illustrations, I found it most beneficial when I did not quit understand the context of the  reading. Even though some pictures are in black and white, and hard to comprehend they're still very detailed and accurate. The theories in this book about the processes of building pyramids I found great interest in, it was intriguing.  Over all the data in this book is easy to understand and very educational.
