Quill Gordon is the latest in a long line of caretakers at Fish in a Barrel Pond, on the slopes of Nonesuch Mountain, somewhere in Vermont. As the sole employee of the Neverwas Nonesuch Angling Society, he is up to his elbows in anglers for six months of the year, spending the other six months up to his elbows in snow.
