The vegetables korma, and spiced eggplant dish came out better then a lot of the recipes I've tried from Indian cookbooks. The celery soup was excellent. The instructions are short and to the point, capable for a single guy like me to use.

With this book, you finally feel like you are eating a real meal, not a side dish. Great variety of dishes, but not for the novice cook. They require just a tad of shopping. I would reccomend to anyone though.

Bought this at a local Barnes and Noble. It is beautifully done and illustrates the steps for each dish. Every recipe I have tried (about 15 so far) has been excellent. Use of spices and herbs to make these dishes flavorful is better than many other books on the subject. I am buying this book to give to friends. I'm tired of copying recipes!
