josh is a texas ranger wose wife has died and left him with a young son. as he travels around the texas state rounding up criminals, he has a woman that takes care of his son. mostly the stories deal with his exploits finding these men, but every so often a glimpse of what he feels about leaving his son peeks through. good rough and tumble western.
