I really enjoyed this book. The characters & plot we well developed. I liked how some of the characters were redeemed. He did a great job of weaving all the characters together & showing thier importance. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the ending. I liked how the main character chose to end the "game", but there was the loose end of the "key" & I thought he could have explained his decision to his "love" so she understood. I was also surprised she "left" & none of the other characters seem to care? I would have thought they would have been closer & either searched or went w/her.

Everyone I talk to seems to have no idea about this book. It's a real shame. Good, quick story with great characters. andthey way they develope and change. Very nice. Plus it feels like your in a huge World, with an interesting history that could spawn a tale or two of its own. True, there are some obvious copyediting problems, but easily read passed if you're into the story. There better be a second one after the way this one ended. I hope enough people buy it to warrent it.

Reminds me of old fantasy and was fun. Left some things open at the end tho

Loved the action and characters but the copyediting could have been better. Still, a worth while read in my opinion.

Adarm is not someone I'd like to be MY hero, but, very surprising how he changes thru book. From killing babies in his past to gain their strength to..well... I won't ruin it. Great fights. Give it a chance, you might be surprised. I was.

I've read better with better copy editing, but I think you'd be letting yourself down without at least checking it out. Got much better towards the end I think. But overall, it was worth a read and I'd read more of his work if I ever find it.

After reading so much fantasy\scifi\horror over the years, this seemed to have a, well, 'fresh' take on things. And believe it or not, not one single elf. Surprising to me since everyone seems to want elves in their books. However, his world is packed with all types of creatures and beautiful places as well as gore filled battles and a tortured soul that everything depends on. Cliche maybe, in parts, but worth a read at least. While the ening was fitting, I'm not sure I liked it, but we'll see what happens if he follows up on it.
