With Brell at her side, and Todd and Thriss joining their plight, they explore the treacherous Alaskan wilderness. Enduring heavy snowstorms and fighting hungry polar bears, they push onward, barely escaping death. When Brell is lost, and Todd and Thriss mysteriously disappear, Laura is left on her own to find help in unexpected, unconventional places.
