Insightful If you can record all or part of your dreams, this book looks into interpretation. It gives a great in-depth look into interpreting the content and symbolism of dreams. It's a well-written, well-researched book, and it brings to mind what is in our subconscious when we sleep. I found the topic and the writing very interesting.
Reviewed by Lesley Jones for Readers' Favorite The Curious Dreamer's Practical Guide To Dream Interpretation by Nancy Wagaman will give you an in-depth insight into dream analysis. You will learn not only what certain dreams mean, but you are also given an invaluable toolkit on how to remember them and understand the reasons you have that particular dream. You will become your own dream expert and be aware of how the lifestyle you lead is a direct cause of the dreams you have. The book is filled with 40 techniques that you can implement to make positive changes in your life. You will understand why you experience certain nightmares and how to recall any dream with ease. Unlike any other dream interpretation books, there is a section towards the end to help you accept and forgive your past actions and this will lead to more fulfilling dreams that will enrich not only your sleep, but also your waking moments. The Curious Dreamer's Practical Guide To Dream Interpretation by Nancy Wagaman is not what I was expecting. I imagined I was going to read the usual dream book analysing dreams of red roses or falling, but this is so much more. The book will explain simply, and not just tell you why you have certain dreams. The techniques are clearly explained and easy to follow. I will use many of the techniques detailed in the book, especially becoming more aware of the environment and objects I see during the dream, and I will be making changes to my self-defeating beliefs so I can change my life and the dreams I have. This book is more of a guide than a book as there are sections that you will need to refer to every now and then to refresh your memory. The information in this book is vast and I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about their dreams.
