A good book, built on the first book. We are getting to know Sabre better, and the queen is mellowing. I look forward to more growth of the characters and added twists. I plan to read the 3rd book at some point but am taking a break. Too bad I only saw the first 3 of the series available on Nookbooks- like to see the remaining books available too.

Read the first book and thought it was interesting enough to buy the second. This book went nowhere. It was just one or the other of the characters getting hurt, almost dying and then miraculously recovering. I don't even feel like finishing the series. Can't post unless I give it at least one star.

Glad i read the free sample . Story opens with a talking cat and bs fake reality . So the story is no longer sci fi , its fantasy crap.

Loved the charactors and the story. Couldn't put the books down. TC has you completely hook with Syber and Tassin's adventures. Each book and each adventure is just as great as the one before.

Fabulous imagery of a world where technology has faded into legend and feudal kings rule with iron fists, aided by mages skilled in illusion. Add to the mix one immature Queen protected by a broken cyborg and you have stepped across the threshold of the best and worst history and the future have to offer.

I love the way T. C. Soutwell draws the reader into each story written and makes fantasy into temporary reality as the tale progresses. Each chapter leaves you wanting more.

This is a nice easy read, not quite a page turner but close. I enjoyed the book and am now working on the last one in the series.
