About the Author

Professor Steven T. Powers is the author of The March to Victory, A Guide to World War II Battles and Battlefields from London to the Rhine. A U.S. Naval Academy Graduate, Powers was a history professor at the University of Northern Colorado for more than 30 years.

Kevin Dennehy has been a journalist for more than 28 years. He has written dozens of history travel articles for daily newspapers and magazines. He is a retired Army National Guard colonel, with service in Afghanistan and Iraq.
