At first the book kept me really engaged especially learning more of how Queen Anne met her King James and how he actually came to her rescue. After they moved to England to be crowned the book substantially slowed down to me. It is a short read but I had to really push myself to get to the end of this book. I am intrigued to read more on her daughter the Queen of Bohemia otherwise known as the winter Queen.
