I throw my bag on the floor as l shut the front door. I look around at the dust collecting on all the furniture. I run up the stairs as fast as l can so my mother doesn't ask me any questions. It's not like she cares anyways. She's just wasting mine and her time.
I open my bedroom door and plump down on my bed. I grab the tablet next to my bed on the nightstand. I catch glimpse of the picture of me and my dad. I keep forgetting to throw it away.
Ever since last year when l found out how my father was killed and why he was killed and what he did to deserve to be killed...l just cannot look at his picture. Or think about him.
I decide to pick it up and l walk it over to my garbage. And toss it in. The glass breaks and l walk away. I crawl back on the bed and turn on my laptop. I log onto my ArrowBon account and look at what Rex has recently posted. Some boring paragraph about wrestling again. I shake my head and look up my name. I spell it wrong and some weird name pops up. But l click on it cause someone catches my eye. The person has black hair amd dark skin. A boy. With chocote eyes. And a scar on his jaw. He looks sorta like he could be Rex's brother. But Rex is an only child. I shake my head and look at their posts. The boys name is Arken Budawn. And most of his pictures were of him and a blonde with green eyes. She's way shorter then he is. And has light freckles on her nose. And a really white smile. Ew.
I get tired and log out. I close the laptop and just sit there on my bed. Rex texts me. I open it up.
Rexy: Heyy. Are you coming to the dance tonight??
Me: heck no.
Rexy: Too bad. I'm coming over to get you. So put some jewelry or crap in and be ready.
Me: Ugh. Rex, no.
Rexy: Be there in 10. See ya.
I sigh in frustration and go and get dressed in some somewhat nice clothes. My door opens and Rex comes in.
"Knock much?" I glare at him.
"Nice to see you too, homeslice." He smirks.
"Ugh. Lets go." I grab his arm and drag him downstairs.
We're almost to the door when my mother speaks.
"Hon? Have fun. No beer. No drugs. No se<_>x. Ok? Remember who you are a-"
"What you stand for. Yeah l know mom. Now bye." I say pushing Rex outside.
"Love yooooooou!!!!" My mom hollers.
I climb in Rex's truck fast. He on the other hand takes his time and waves bye to my mom.
He climbs in and smirks at me. I roll my eyes and fold my arms.
"Lighten up, Lassy. My homeslice. Have some fun!" He smiles. "I wil when you shut your mouth." I mumble. He just chuckles and starts the truck and drives us to the dance.
Next Res.
Blaze
