I absolutely adored this book! I had heard some mixed review about it so I was a little weary going into it. I am so excited that this is going to be a series; who could pass up Sherlock as a kid? Now the age these books are aiming for is the 9-13 year olds which given some of the content and the tone of the book is right on the bulls eye in my opinion. Where were these when I was this age I would have gobbled them up. And yes I know I'm a nerd! It is just wonderful and my 9 year old self is jumping for joy after reading this.
