This poem is about Santa Claus being depressed after delivering the gifts at Christmas. He feels that there is too much emphasis on gifts – there is nothing wrong about exchanging gifts for that gives everyone a chance to give and to receive but there should be more emphasis on being with family – especially at Christmas. Santa finally has sent a message to the world about his concern and then is relieved that all will get the message and is ready to to his job once again.
