After being enslaved on the spaceship Extarga for most of her life Analia has no memory of her life before, and has lost all knowledge of her people. Her mysterious gift and pointed ears are the only indication that she is different.

Analia is alone, and for all she knows, shes the last of her kind. By chance Analia escapes her captors, and hides herself on the merchant ship Marada, planning to get off at the very next stop.

Unfortunately for her there is no next stop, the crew is planning a delivery that could take months and, according to a stipulation in the newly signed contract, no one is allowed on or off the ship until the package is delivered.

When Analia is found by a handsome demon, and captain of the Marada, she must adapt to her new role on the ship, and try to control her newly awakened desire for the brutal, and devastatingly erotic demon.

I loved this book! I do agree with the others about a proofread, but the story was great , I can't wait to read the others in this series!

This book was very well done. I realized about 2/3 of the way into it that it had almost a "Host" story to it, but it was very subtle, which was nice. This book was 100% original, had characters with exceptional emotional depth and complexity. The characters were very believable, their reactions to events were relatable, and understandable. The length of the story was also very pleasing, it had room for every facet of the characters' story. So all-in-all, a very well done book, one that I will definitely be reading again.

I was pretty put off by the "demons in space" idea. I thought that it was just going to be about some kinky monster. I had another thing coming however. Between wonderfully created characters and the "keep me up all night plot, I couldn't read this book fast enough. Though I can't say I would recommend this book to my mother, I will be keeping this book and reading it again and again.

I would have given this book a much higher rating if it did not end lines with incomplete words e.g. the should never be t he. If you are going to self publish and charge the same as other books the readers should recieve equal quality.

Took a chance on a new author with this one. So very glad I did! Kiersten Fey is a phenomenal writer; the story is well written, well edited, and just generally good. The plot kept my attention and didn't have me wanting to set it down. I enjoyed all of the characters that showed up in the book, and looked forward to picking up the next one when I finished. I went in looking for a story about demons (it's one of the subjects I like), and ended up with a combination of that and alien. Turned out to be phenomenal anyway. Little fairy girl is the sweetest thing ever despite a horrible life. The demon who falls in love with her is absolutely adorable. I love the fight it takes for them to get there. Having finished all of the Shadow Quest series up until now, I can say this is a definite must read. Along with the rest!

Wow! I LOVE this new series from Kiersten! She has ability to take you to another world, whether sci-fi or paranormal, an immediately immerse you in it. This has everything - a woman with little knowledge of her past escaping her abusive captor by sneaking onto another ship, a handsome demon captain who has closed off his heart after a betrayal to him and his brother and sister, intrigue, suspense, danger, witty banter and an attraction between Analia and Sebastian that that burns up the pages! It's full of twists and turns, tons of action and entwined in all of that is a love story that will capture your heart.

Overall rating 4.6 ** I am new to this author so I truly enjoyed this style of writing. It feels to me like blended genres which totally got me hooked. The characters became real and leaped out to hold my interest. This authors writing tortured me, I felt the buildup between characters and I just wanted to push them together but I realize that is the whole keep me reading. Needless to say, my interest never dropped ! As a first exposure this book did its job because I can’t wait to get my hands on book 2! All of my reviews are always voluntary.

This is the first book of this author’s that I’ve read, but I can guarantee it won’t be my last. Up until about three months or so ago, I steered clear from anything that had “sci-fi” in the description because it wasn’t my “thing”–or at least, I thought it wasn’t–but I took a chance on a Ruby Dixon novel and I’ve been devouring any sci-fi romance I could find since. When the opportunity arose to get a copy of this book to read, I jumped on it. I’m so glad I did. Analia has spent her entire life in captivity being abused and misused by her captor. She doesn’t remember being shown any kindness in all her life and when the opportunity arises to escape, she jumps at it. Little does she realize, her life is about to change tremendously. She stows away on a merchant ship with the hopes of escaping her terrible life. Once on board, while she’s hiding pretty much in plain sight, she discovers that the Marada has no intention of stopping–not for several months, at least. Hungry, scared, feeling alone but determined, Analia decides she would rather face certain death than return to her evil captor. Once her decision has been firmly made, she lies in wait–either for freedom or for death. When she finds herself face to face with the captain of the ship she’s taken refuge on, she discovers feelings she’s never had before … but will he prove to be just as bad as the other men she’s come into contact with before? Sebastian is a demon–and in this book, it’s meant literally. He’s one of just a few survivors of his race and he’s become bitter and jaded from past experience and the treatment he’s received throughout his lifetime. Demons are viewed as volatile, despicable, vile beings who are treated as the monsters others claim they are. Sebastian also refuses to fall in love. He’s seen exactly what loving and being mated to someone has done to his brother, who is nothing but a shell of who he once was after being betrayed by his own mate. Sebastian has no desire to be hurt in the same way; it was bad enough feeling his own betrayal with someone he wasn’t in love with. Everything changes when Sebastian first lays eyes on Analia. Though she’s dirty and smelly and can barely keep her eyes open, Sebastian is inexplicably drawn to her. The feeling is mutual and Analia doesn’t know what to do with these newfound emotions and physical stirrings. To say they drive each other crazy is quite the understatement–in more ways than one. Without giving too much away, their relationship progresses and I greatly enjoyed the way Ms. Fay developed these characters and their emotions. They don’t fall for each other overnight and the tension that’s felt throughout the story is so beautifully written; I could feel the emotions these characters were dealing with as I read every page. I’m normally pretty strict about reading books that are the first person POV, but it honestly didn’t matter for me when reading this book because it was just that good. This story was full of passion, romance, a determined and goal-oriented heroine, an alpha male, and it even had some humor thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed it and will more than likely be reading the rest of the series as I’m dying to know what happens with the other characters I will say, though, if you have any triggers, be aware that there are some slightly graphic details about abuse in this story that could potentially be upsetting. If this book sounds like your thing, I highly recommend it!

I love it!It was so good I almost couldn't put it down. I love the Process the main characters went through to know each other, and it build up slowly yet fast at the same time. I laugh at moments, scream at others, almost wet crazy with the ups and downs, and almost thought they wouldn't make it to the end. But they did, and I'm so glad. There's still a long way till the end of this, but I have faith in them, and I may say, destiny or fate are working together in this one. Anya has so much potential in her, and there's so much to learn about her and where she came from, and what can she do. I'm eager to read the next book and see where this is going and how the rest of the crew deal with it.

I thought the book was good. It had enough plot and sex to keep me interested. I will read the next book in the series.

The perfect start off to a great series! This story involves a great love between Sebastian and Anya, intrigue as Anya discovers who she really is, and triumph when Anya faces her past and saves her friends. I've never read a love story set in space that I liked, but this book definitely hooked me. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Princess Found Received this book from the author for an honest review. This book was just awesome. Sebastian and Anya are to characters that you want to have the happy ending but nothing in their life goes according to plan. The writing was smooth though not all spelling errors were caught but this did not detract from the story in any fashion. The writer keep a steady pace with the story event to engage the readers mind picturing this cast of characters. Normally it takes me a few days to read a book over 300 pages but I did this one in a day because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Lets just say you don't get the end of the story but you definitely get more details that will lead you to the next book "Demon Slave" will pick up from the turn in Demon Possession. Plan on reading the next two books in the series to find out what happens to everyone.

I didn't know what to expect with this book, but I liked it a lot. It had a decent plot to go with the hot sex scenes. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
