About the Author

Mea Weinberg, DDS, MSD, RPh, is a practicing periodontist andlicensed pharmacist, giving her unique experience and insight intomedical conditions and their impact on dental treatment. She is aclinical associate professor of periodontology and implantdentistry at New York University. Dr. Weinberg has authored andco-authored numerous journal articles and has co-authored threebooks, including The Dentist’s Drug and PrescriptionGuide (Wiley, 2012).

Stuart Segelnick, DDS, MS, is in private practice in Brooklyn, NewYork, and a clinical associate professor of periodontology andimplant dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry.Dr. Segelnick contributed as a consulting editor for TheDentist’s Drug and Prescription Guide (Wiley,2012).
