I loved this short story – the only thing wrong with it was that it was too short. I wanted to know more about the love-struck Fenton, the object of his desire, Jillian, and his elvish best friend, Temnas – not to forget the donkey sisters, Sorrel and Cress. Hopefully, there will be a follow up. There was a lot of humour and excitement in this story, though not really of the type that Fenton had planned for his wooing of Jillian. Once started, you were hooked, and just had to keep going to the end. Potatoes and devils do come into the tale – but again, not in the way that anyone could predict. It just goes to show that imagination is mightier than the sword. I received this copy from the author in exchange for an honest review
