If you haven't stared this series yet, you are missing out! Golden Czermak vividly paints the stories his tells. Everything from how evil Dajjal is, to feeling like you are right there with the journeymen. Please start this series from the beginning with Homeward Bound if you haven't done so already. Golden's books continue to be a roller coaster of emotion. January can not get here soon enough. I want the next installment of the Journeyman Series!

Golden Czermak just keeps getting better! I finished The Devil’s Highway this weekend and all I can say is WOW!!!! The rollercoaster continues. The Devil’s Highway is the fourth book in Golden’s six book Journeyman series. Once again we pick up where book three left off, so if you plan to read this series you must read them in order otherwise you will be completely lost. This installment takes to yet another mythical world that will be all too familiar yet still somewhat different. I don’t want to give too much away on that point but trust me it is so worth it to read. The detail put into this part of the story alone makes it worth reading. I truly cannot wait to see what is in store for books five and six, I’m sure it will involve more heartbreak/heartache and screaming at the author for said heartbreak/heartache.

Not surprising, another incredible story by the author we love to hate, Golden Czermak. Secretly, I think he absolutely enjoys making his readers feel intense emotions, making them squirm, and secretly I think he giggles at all the readers who express their hatred to what his story telling does to them. These things alone just really make me love his writing style that much more and really make me adore him. He doesn’t disappoint with his writing in this book, he is incredibly detailed, very blunt, and doesn’t sugarcoat the details. Let’s talk details and descriptions for a minute. This book is packed FULL of descriptions that will make your mind spin with wonder as you try to figure out how he generates so many detailed descriptions, characters, and scenery. It’s absolutely amazing. This story will require your attention a little bit more, in my opinion, to the detail and the characters, and the story line. It is easy to get lost if your mind is distracted and not fully into the story, but just as easy to re-read a little bit and when it sinks in, you’ll get that ahha moment. I secretly (well obviously not so secretly since I’m admitting it to you now) love what Golden is doing to his readers. I love how he has us so wrapped into the story and the characters that the smallest details will make you hold your breath until the next sentence, or paragraph, and sometimes even the next chapter. I love that he makes me want more, makes me crave more, and sometimes it makes me demand more. Please, go check out his work. Start with book 1, Homeward Bound, and get ready for a journey. Get yourself some Kleenexes, an adult drink, and snuggle down for a great story! You’ll be happy you did.
