A compelling read, that you won't be able to put down. I'm certainly looking forward to reading more, by this up and coming new author. Tina Delanoe (An avid Stephen King & John Grisham reader) Canada.

Inspector Abaline's shrewdness and insight are hidden within his ordinary persona, keeping the reader wondering about his techniques as he tackles this difficult case. The dangerous twists, turns and new developments continue until the very end of this intriguing story. A good read.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, as crime novels are not really my thing. The author certainly has an eye for detail, which helped me feel my way into the story. The characters and plot are both imaginatively thought-out and genuine. I think the author has hit the right note with his choice of scenery and the descriptive, originality of the plot. I found myself drawn into the story, almost as if I had been to the scene of the crime before. I like a book that excites, captivates and keeps me guessing. This book definitely scores highly on all fronts.
